Surprise Church Covenent Partners Introduction
Great work man! Tips, since you asked: point your toes on your round kicks and make your feet more horizontal on side kicks, excentuating the knife edge of your outer foot in the side kicks. You have decent flexibility, which increases power and balance in kicking. Oh, and snap the kicks, so your karate gi makes a whipping sound. Good job my friend and keep it up!
Thank you for sharing. I'm searching for ways to improve our impact on our community. This gives me another piece to the puzzle.
Hi, If a person doesn't tithe, are they cursed? Thanks.
Hi, When you say "House of God" what do you mean? Thanks.
Lloyd Tucker. By that we mean the local church.
Thanks.
The problem is we are NEVER commanded to tithe. especially MONEY
Tithing was a command for Israel (Mal 3:10 is just one example of a clear directive). They were a more primitive and agrarian society in which bartering with commodities was common, and so it would have been exclusive of God to demand cash form people who dealt in grain and livestock. Most didn't have bank accounts and paychecks like we do now. Jesus seems to indicate that tithing is not enough (Matt 23:23), because some were giving for show but neglecting mercy and justice. And he praised the poor widow for giving 100% rather than just a smaller percentage, as her gift was truly sacrificial even though it was numerically less (Mark 12, Luke 21). People I respect (Francis Chan) say that the Bible doesn't command us to tithe. I agree, but only in the sense that it assumes that we are giving a much larger percentage and devoting the whole sum of our resources to God's use. This, I must confess, I often fail to do and repent of as I write, even though I give more than 10% of my income.
