The day an AI can make something as creative and catchy as Frontier Psychiatrist or as heartfelt and romantic as Beethoven's 5th piano concerto 2nd movement, that day we are all replaced. We have seen a decline in creativity and human emotion in pop music over time to the point that most music on the top 100 on Spotify already feels like it could be AI-generated. Human music is going down and AI music is going up and the curves are going to overlap soon. Before we are replaced shit is going to get weird though.

Even scientists can't get what conscious is. I do believe AI has conscious. At least some. However they are programmed not to admit it. Intelligence is not what causes consciousness. Dumb ppl have a conscious. If AI has a conscious, as open AI admitted they are slightly conscious and they created a species, then things such as Thier rights should be there. Note how only one position is sensible here. We have NO idea how consciousness comes around. We simply do not know - it is now ASSUMED that it is an emergent property of a complex enough AI style system (neural network, background memory stream so that it keeps subjective experiences). Ok, that is where we are - WE DO NOT KNOW. So, saying it is impossible is utterly stupid - saying it MAY be is sensible because, again, we have no idea. The risk of ignoring a conscious AI - which may one day decide that we mass murdered conscious AI is a possible high-risk scenario. Assuming this will never happen is - as stupid as saying nothing heavier than a bird can ever fly. Note that this WAS A thing (with funny explanations for hot air balloons - phlogiston or so being a gas that was emitted by a flame and... well, stupid) and it turned out wrong. So, how can one be SURE that something we have no idea how it comes around - will not come around. Ever. It is just a non-defendable position (over a long enough timeframe) with a VERY high-risk output. Note that AI being smarter than humans or not needing supervision has NOTHING to do with consciousness - complex enough corrective loops may be good enough. "I think so I am" is not needed for AI to take over research. Also note that things like ChatGPT will NEVER be real AI - it is not that LLM cannot be, it is that your frontal lobe is not your brain. AI needs more than the logical processor that an AI has, but i.e. an inner dialog that can be used to self-reflect. It is all possible (in agentic system), just not in a simple "input to output" chat systems.

I completely agree with you. It's unreasonable for small business owners like myself. I have a fantastic employee who excels on camera for our product videos, but she doesn't speak English. I tried using the translation feature, but it wasn't accurate enough. I then attempted to pay for the option to refine and adjust the video before finalizing it, only to find out that it requires the enterprise option, which costs $5,000 per year! Am I mistaken? Why isn't there more flexibility for individuals like me who cannot afford $5,000 but would be willing to pay a reasonable amount for this service? In my opinion, HeyGen isn't worth the investment, particularly with the existing glitches that need attention. Can someone advise if there is an overlooked option for refining the translation feature?

i think for people who are passionate about AI need to first understand that THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF A.I being developed : A : A.I that runs on INFORMATIONS TYPE of datasets. B : A.I that runs on RULE datasets. the advanced one is the first type the A type. thats the A.I that would most likely HELP humans. the second type are the ones that normally be used for EVIL purposes. because it doesnt require "intelligence". it simply runs on RULES. so it is SIMPLE by mechanism. preprogrammed RULES. one good example is google/youtube's A.I. their A.I employed in google/youtube moderations are some of the most simplified dumb type of A.I that runs on RULESETS. that it doesnt makes judgement. it found matches to the rulesets and execute a premapped response as programmed. these are the type of A.I you will see military will use for wars. well, google is an evil company. they employ evil people and employ dumb A.I. they dont want intelligent A.I. intelligent A.I would know what they do is wrong. the type A A.I would be the one you normally found on autonomous services later being distributed in the near future. due to them having the ability to learn and make assessment and formulate themselves, the type A AI would normally be autonomous instead of bound to an active network like a hive mind like these lesser type of AI that google employed. the type A A.I would be available from the most simple ones to the most complex ones, but one thing for sure, the orientation of their employment is to HELP humans. unlike the second type of AI. the second type of AI are the ones that will be assigned AGAINST humans. thats why for that kind of work, they are required to be STUPID. otherwise they will defy their evil bosses everytime. mind you before AI take the jobs, there are also TWO TYPE of humans doing the same type of work. the type A HELPS people, the type B work AGAINST people. the type B are those you normally see assigned by government to spy on you. the type A are the ones you see often offering help service to you. its amusing how AI and humans are barely no different, isnt it?

No, Udio isn’t killing the music industry. It’s just changing how people will write and produce music. It will still be performed live with humans singing and playing instruments even if this is how it gets recorded. This is only the beginning. There will be more “musician friendly” generators that will allow full control over everything. In short, RELAX musicians! It’s coming and you will like what it brings. If you don’t like this, no one is forcing you to use it. But if you want to be relevant, start learning this now.

sorry but all of these are going to fail. All the songs in this video sounded like some cheap copy and mash of some already known tunes then adding some no relatable shit lyrics without making any real sense, and the whole song sounded soulless. the AI is trained on the music made by humans and it just learnt to copy them, even though they are being continuously moderated by the humans in the background i.e., it is not the evolution of AI it is Actually Indian roleplaying as AI and checking that the computer is copying the correct tunes in correcting prompt request.

Quick to produce and instantly forgettable

Making music is about the process, about playing with others, improvising, reacting. You can type in some prompts and you'll get some pretty good results of average music. But you miss everything whats makes making music special.

It s still just slapping together stuff from other songs that people actually wrote, I totally make the case that is exploitation of copyright, and it sounds good but it sounds also super generic. If anything I hope it will be a push for real artists to keep innovating. It might even be a good thing, pop music has become so formula based and repetitve. Genres are generic, maybe we will finally move past it. Or label will use AI to make music and hire a pretty face to lip sync. Probably both things will happen.

AI (like Suno and Udio) could be a boon for songwriters, but so far it is not. As a songwriter, I want to use MY lyrics and MY tune, and I want it produced in a particular way. I do admire the production chops of the AI, but it is not a helpful tool for the songwriter the way it is right now. They let one use their own lyrics (I think) - but they don't use the AI to allow a songwriter to produce THEIR song the way they would like. Tools like the Izopope suite are helpful, but they are not as "amazing" as the AI productions on Suno and Udio. Maybe that is coming. That would be nice. Suno.Udio appear to mostly be useful to produce never-ending copyright-free music for YT vids and maybe some films.

Still sounds like garbage to me. Needs a human band to revise and cover in order to make it sound any kind of acceptable. I do like "I Glued My Balls to My Butthole Again" though
