Get the fresh air duct working, You need a hole saw to drill thru the wall and then put the dryer vent on the exterior of the house. The stove needs this to burn air from the outside.
Yes. That's next. Thank you
Awesome
Very nice, thanks for video.
Glad we could help!
TS stoves are crap.
Which one did you try? This is my first TSC wood stove.
@@tinytoesfarm They are all low end
Well yes. But some of us can't spend $3,000 on a wood stove to heat our entire house.
@@tinytoesfarm with government rebate on EPA stoves =30% off. and save tones of work or money on firewood.
I agree with you that there are better wood stoves. We don't have $3000 plus to spend right now in a wood stove. Is not 30% off but 30% tax credit so I won't get that money until next year. More firewood isn't a problem because I love to cut and split firewood. But this kind of stove are not bad at all. In my opinion they are good enough. (So far)
What a powerful song and sung to move your soul. Bravo!!!👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Amen
Smart man. Thanks for the tip.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you Brother and Sister for sharing this great information. I am currently installing the chimney on the same stove. Looking farward to my first burn 🔥 and feeling more confident about my choice of stove. You are a blessing. 🙌🙌🙌
We are glad that we helped.
That stove is only 300 lb with the fire brick taken out of it because it's 400 lb total with it in. I actually moved it with a friend with the fire brick in it lol. Now 400 lb was heavy to move! I had assumed that they already had the fire brick placed in it so I didn't look to see if they was neatly packed in boxes that I could just take out. For those of you who buy a wood stove and haul it yourself, take out the boxes of fire brick being stored inside of it first lol. It can make the difference between a good day and a bad day.
Correct. The fire bricks were in two boxes. Pluse, we took the door and ash tray, too. We bought that lift for firewood logs and I'm glad I remembered that I have it.
It's 400 lb if you don't take the two boxes of fire brick out because they weigh 100 lb so if you take those out first you're only moving 300 lb instead of 400 lb I learned that the hard way lol
Yeah. It's still heavy for us.
I just bought the same wood stove that you guys have the Yellowstone from tractor supply and if you read the fine print on that tag on the back of it it says it is only 70 percent efficient. To get the tax credit, it has to be at least 75% efficient. So I don't know why tractor supply is putting on it that it is eligible for the tax credit. Be careful because you could get audited and have to pay all that back.
There are different metrics for the 75% efficiency. Overall efficiency HHV 70% LVH 76% Optimal efficiency LHV 77% Heat transfer efficiency HHV %75
Thanks for your reply. I currently have a wood stove installed that is a pile of junk and my pipe is 11 feet . I'm thinking about buying the same model you have, so I downloaded the manual and it says 15 feet minimum pipe from top of stove to outside rain cap. How has it been running at 10 feet, any problems with draft.
No problem with draft. Just a little smoke coming when I open the door if the fire or the coal are not hot. But the maniel says if you install the fresh air intake pipes will help. I'm planning in doing that.
How tall is your stove pipe from top of stove to outside rain cap. Manual says it needs to be 15 feet of pipe.
Ours is probably 10 feet
Cool
Had an acquaintance pitch this exact stove to me for 100 dollars. It had been sitting outside in the rain and the glass was broken. Been doing the finishing of the paint and getting it set up. My other one was too big for the house. The replacement glass is about 150 dollars. It was manufactured in July of 2023. Not sure if I'll go with that glass or take a piece off a kitchen range and weld a metal guard on the inside. I also have the fan for the six inch black pipe that worked well with the other stove. Looks like I will pass on putting that on. Secondary burn was cool. Thanks for posting. Helped me.
Glad we could help. Hope yours makes you as happy as ours makes us!
Stay away from your big boxes stores for wood stoves they are junk.
Time will tell. I'm happy with this one so far.
Is the air intake hooked up
Inside your stove in the top you will find a board pull forward half way open front and back this will take care of the smoke coming in the room will be better had the same problem with my stove Do this only with no fire hope this helped you also always open damper when opening door They tell you to leave the board to the back in the instructions this will not work thats why it smokes.
Thanks. I'll take a look at that.
Tee-taan. Grand Teton is a US National Park south of Yellowstone. 😊
Right. We should've Googled it before making the video. 😃
My stove is basically the same design. Almsot identical. Except my air inlet control is opposite of yours. Pulled out its as closed as it can be. Pushed in is wide open. I also opened up the small inlet hole that is on the underside of the firebox in the front of the unit. Not sure if yours is the same. And with new stoves you need to burn a hot fires to cook the paint. With windows open. Not during the night
Yes. That sounds like the same design.
As for burning at night... you are correct we learned this lesson the hard way. Hopefully others will not make our same mistake. 😁
Is your wood dry?
Yes. Less than 20% moisture. It burns faster now with the wood stove hot and coals. The first slow burn was the first fire inside the house.
You made the comment you might return it if you don't like it but I don't think you can return it after you burn in it. 11-hour burn time is impressive though. They advertised only eight.
Well.... you won't get 11 hours of flames, but with the nice coals left, you will get 11 hours of heating. I'm not sure about the return on wood stoves. Power tools can't be returned, the policy says "any item".
just beautiful!!
Thanks, I think so too!
So cute! ❤❤❤

They did just fine
Well done ,and good thinking!
Thank you!

Tierquälerei,sonst nix!!!!
No at all
Absolute cruelty
Absolutely not. The calf gets to hand with the mom all day instead of separating them and having them crying all night for each other.
@Dimitri-Jordania - spoken as if you have the first clue about farming. Stop trying to bust all our eardrums with your awful music.

Very usefull to formers
How do you live with yourself seriously. This is so perverse and horrific.
Well, it's either that or separate them and hearing them crying for each other for a week. But it's ok that calf is in the freezer now.
I love how frustrated they get 😂
You would rather the guy separated the calf and cow and hear them cry for each other all the time?! All calves need to be weaned at one point! It’s best to wean early so the mother can rest!
Get over yourself and get off the internet
@MadiMcK spoiled, privileged, sheltered city kid acting like you even have the first clue about farming. It’s hardworking farmers who put food into your ungrateful mouth. Shame on you.
Do you have a means of opening it? What do you do when the bale gets low?
Hi. Yes, you can cut the twain and tight it again, but normally, the hay falls down, and I don't have to adjust it. Depending on what you are feeding, you may want to put two t-post to secure it if you have cows. Also, you can put the bale on a pallet so they can still eat from the bottom (sheep or goats). Then, I just removed the panel, and they finished the hay.
This is great! I've been trying to figure out how to feed my round bales without moving them. Thank you for sharing!
Getting 4x4 bales make it easier
Also easier if you can get a 4x4 bale 4x5s can be a struggle
I just did this and used 4 med sized ratchets that I'll forever dedicate to this 👏🏿👨🏾🌾🐐
Thanks for showing the whole process, even getting it out of the truck. Will be getting my first round bale for my goats this weekend and this made it alot less intimidating for me having to unload it by myself!
It's not that bad if you get a fresh bale.
Beautiful cow. Just subbed. She seems like she’d be a candidate to become a tiny milk cow
I need to get my fodder system set up!! Is that spouted barley?
Yes. You could use oats or wheat too.
Cool idea I will be trying this next time I put out a bale!!!!
We had started this and what a difference with sheep. I found using metal clips works faster and they are reusable.
❤❤ Love your dogs. They remind me of a beloved pet of mine when I was a child.

Our dexter has zero hangups.... she's in charge of her crazy little herd and likes it that way!
