So if I use the url from old old site that was hosted elsewhere and I move my domain over to squarespace... same domain will be used. For example my old page url was /Gallery1/Hall_Table/hall_table.html and I create the brand new page on Squarespace just called hall-table, I can plug the info into the redirect and it would work. My old page will not exist anymore being that it was on a different server and removed.

I ran into a problem using the built-in code blocks. They take up physical space on the site, especially on the mobile site! Hiding them is not trivial. Some have said you can inject some CSS code to make its size 0 but I wasn't able to get it working. If you could post an update to this issue, or someone has a solution, please reply to let me know! I am using the block id method instead, but this is not as good, since it may scroll a little too far.

hello, is there any videos out there that have anchor links from the dropdown menu? I am building a site and I have a services page. we do about 7 services. I have been trying forever to figure out how to have it where I can click on lets say "plumbing" and have it go to plumbing on the same page as the rest of my other 7 services. thank you!

Hey! How do you get it to generate a code for you rather than just a link?

If you're designing a website for a small business owner, and both platforms will create a beautiful website, from the client standpoint, is there a reason showit would provide a better experience for the client compared to Squarespace? Seems like squarespace is better b/c it's less expensive, maybe even easier to update the website if they ever want to do that.
