Great advice! I hope it works on a 2013.
That explains the comments being turned off on videos of which no one could be offended.
Let me know if you get notification of the next video, Thanks
UA-cam is a full-time job!😊
I can see it could be, but my bees are priority one.

Hi to you Brad
My MDX is the same way, this method works best. I drained my sons 08 CIVIC the other day and the oil was terrible. I drained it, maybe 3Q and was going to change the filter from underneath. Worked great but I also decided to flush it. I emptied 4Q+ of this really bad dark oil out in the process. I didn't realize how little oil you drain out with a simple oil change. Most of the oil is still in the transmission without flushing you'd have to change it 3-4 times to get the old oil cycled out. Plus you trashed the new filter in the process. My point is if you get the filter out, go ahead and extend the hoses into a pan and overfill the transmission. The hose on top with the Civic was the To Filter hose and the flush line. On my 10 MDX I'll run about 7Q through it bc that's a complete fill on a rebuilt MDX. Assemble everything and do a final fill. Anyway, great video man, this is the simplest way to do this. On a 08 Civic everyone does the same thing, change the filter from the top and that's the hardest path.
Are you selling these
Going to replace my ATF Filter my 14 Acura RDX Tech 2wd has 127k i changed out the ATF fluid at 125K. It bought it preowned was Acura dealership service car.
Great job bud it looks great!
Really nice work.
Thanks
Give us some dimensions
Bro. Make the video as if we don't know exactly what you're referencing. Nope, just starting the story with the middle, lettin you work out the beginning. Balls bro. Big fat hairy ballsacks
Sweet
Nice
Very nice!
This must be for the 6-Speed auto. We have a 2016 with the ZF 9-Speed.
13 RDX front wheel drive, 94K miles. I performed this tranny drain and fill and also changed out inline tranny oil filter behind front driver wheel well also. I didn’t need to unclip harness though. I bought 4 quarts DW1 and was expecting for a lil over 3 to come out but actually 4 quarts of old fluid came out and I had to plug back up because all I had was 4 quarts. 🤔. Nice content man!
I just did our 2014 Acura RDX and I removed the driver side wheel well liner and the transmission filter was right there. Must easier than taken the battery out. 2 -10mm bolts hold bracket to Tranny. It's must easier to remove the liner. Great video. Thank you.
this definitely came in handy
Definitely easier thank you!for this video.
Hi, can you show how you are fixing the wires? Not enough room to strip and reconnect, how do I find the correct size and type wires to solder in?
Done. I've used a long flat screwdriver to unclip the electrical harness. Easy access. I think much better than from the top removing the battery. Great video. Thank you.
Здраствуйте, не подскажите размеры конструкции?
Nice video. Everyone else cuts the boot
Very nice work
Good video, thanks.
Since you've done it already, would you consider removing the clamps first and then disconnecting the harness?
you could just be ready for a little fluid to drain out, maybe 3/4 cup. I used LONG angled needle nose pliers.
how much does the leg lift help in regard to comfort?
quite a bit, it allows you to scoot forward for long reaches.
Smart idea! What's the bolt size? 10mm?
HI John Have you had any issues with your ez loader sinse your first video on it? I'm going to biuld one on my bee truck this winter. I work my bees by my self. I have 64 hives. Thanks Jody from Fowlerville michigan
Still going strong, I don't use it as much as i should. It does allow me to load hives by myself, Im at 170 hives.
Sweet looking rig! Are you still using it after two years?😁
Yupp
I had a Can Bus B problem in my 2008 Commander. Found the broken Orange/white wire in the door hinge boot! Thanks for the Tips!
Thank you for sharing your colony losses here. Wow, such a hit would make one analyse the causes. I'm sure mould could be one of issues which you've now addressed and eliminated. You probably also looked at the 4 dead colonies to. Aiming for zero loss through winter is a target, a perfect score ;)
Hi John, looks a really smart job. The PTO joint shaft at the base was a good idea allowing for leveling adjustment. The cable to the hoist, did you consider putting a rotational electrical connector (I think they're called a "slip ring") at the pivot x2 to ensure you never get a twisted cable? Your DIY build has got to be the best around, as you haven't used expensive hydraulics for leveling. A very sensible construction you are rightly proud of...... darn, we're all envious ha ha.
I did what I could afford.....I did remember to drill holes in the PTO joint cup to drain water out of the mast. It has worked out good.
Thank you for your reply
Hi John Can you share the wiring diagram for your pump please? I have the same pump but need a little more details what parts goes between the battery and the pump. Thanks much By the way I got my bees in Imlay City on the East side of MI
I only have a inline fuse between the battery and pump, the electronic control has its own plug.
@@FarmerJohnStephens Thanks for your reply John, so you are telling me that you only use the fuse and rely on the pressure switch inside the pump to start the hose gun? I got it. thanks much. Dan
Hi john, really like the boom. Now that some time has passed are you still pleased with the design and would you do it over again? I am trying to decide if I am going to build one myself.
Yupp the only thing I want to change is making the hoist a wireless model.
I love the wax melter setup. 👍🏻👍🏻 I almost bout a cappings press but am rethinking.
Where does the or how do you use the slum removal screen ? Just rake stuff out with it ?or where does it go ?Im trying to assemble mine making sure I have it right ...Thanks for shareing!,
Did you figure it out?
How much stronger is poly hives vs wood. How do you treat after afb outbreak
Do you have video of using it I want to see the melter set up work… I just bought one
Hello, which voltage inverter do you use to power the crane, whether it is a sine wawe or a regular inverter. what is the rated power of the crane and what is the power of the inverter? Thanks in advance!
That’s a great one
Do you guys feed cane or corn syrup
Love how professionally built it looks. How do you secure it once hives had been loaded
It folds and is pinned closed and has a boom rest strategically placed .
Nice work John. How much did it cost you? Is that metal powder coated. How do you secure it in place while driving. Any chance for a follow up video.
Would love to know as well
Thinking about getting one .. Donyou have a video of it working??
I want to see how the melter works.. I am thinking about getting one but I want to see one work first and best containers to use ….
has nothing to do with poly or wood. Depends on the colony inside. and especially the queen. bees will make anything their home. with good queens that are layers
I agree, a good queen is important. More importantly is the capability of the bees to maintain a constant broodnest temperature. Thermoregulation of the broodnest, or hive in general dictates the health and activity of a hive. A few minutes after that video I opened each hive, the wood was in cluster (41 degrees) the poly was wall to wall with activity. I now run poly hives exclusively for the reasons mentioned and the 35-40 % increase in honey production.
Nicely done top creeper!
Hello, cool design, can you help me? My uncle is a small beekeeper and he want a beehive loader, but we are from Mexico and here is very difficult to find one, so we decided to build one. Can you tell me what material did you use? What kind of pipe, pivot, the square of the base did you use? Thanks, we will try to build something similar
