Hello!! I have a questionnn if you don’t mind. How do you get assigned to schools? do they give you a school closest to your home or is it random? Also, how do you get assigned class grades and subjects (reading, math, science, etc.) I’d really appreciate this!! thank youuu❤
hii thank you for your comment! for memphis we did do a survey that asked things like what was the preference for grade level, subjects, where you live, etc. and then i think they tried their best to take everyone’s wishes into consideration, but ofc it can’t always be the best for everyone so sometimes you can be a bit of a drive away but you at least get the age range you want! also for my actual grade and subject placement after i got assigned an elementary school, it might depend on the school but my school was like hey, here are the openings we have, and then me and the 2 new mid-year corps members kinda discussed and chose the class we wanted!
