Life is an adventure one day at a time
Sydney’s Famous “Bondi to Coogee Walk”- A Bird’s Eye View
One of first things put on their “To Do Lists” for most visitors to Sydney is to complete the “Bondi to Coogee Walk”.
6kms of fabulous coastal scenery and through beachside suburbs such as Bondi, Clovelly and Coogee… what’s not to like!
“Sculptures by the Sea” when it’s on is a nice time to pay a visit to the walk if you don’t mind the crowds of people.
But regardless it’s a wonderful walk, not too difficult, and definitely worth checking out if you haven’t been before or even if you have 😊
Thanks go to Mark from “Black Ops Helicopters” for the flight!
And Brother Mick for his camerawork 👍🏼

Переглядів 1414 днів тому
We began this walk from Circular Quay in Sydney catching the ferry to Taronga. The walk basically follows around the harbour foreshore taking in a lot of historic sites along the way. We concluded the walk at the wonderful Balmoral Beach where we caught a bus back to Taronga for our journey home.
Cape Solander to Wanda Beach Walk
Переглядів 2421 день тому
We began our walk at Cape Solander and then traveled to Cronulla where we had left a car previously. It was an awesome adventure this one. The day turned out to be extremely hot reaching 40 degrees if I remember correctly. Fog rolled in at the start of the walk and I found it quite unusual to hear fog horns from a nearby ship. Just something I am not familiar with and it felt more like England ...
Garawarra Farm to Garie Beach Walk

We started our walk from Garawarra Farm having left a car previously at Garie Beach for our return back to Garawarra. Beautiful coastal scenery walking through the historic hut community of Era and Little Garie. A large Aboriginal midden was seen along our journey along with a scarred tree which apparently had its bark removed for the making of a canoe. One large hill with its sandstone steps t...

We began our walk from the Beachcomber Ave entrance to the Royal National Park. We followed the track that leads away from the coast and links to the Big Marley Firetrail down to Marley Beach. We returned via the Coast Track to Bundeena. Many sights on this walk! These are just some of them- •Marley Beach and Lagoon. •Wedding Cake Rock. •The Balconies. •Aboriginal engravings. Definitely worth t...

We follow the track down to the Woronora River and cross to the other side. The track then follows alongside the river for a while before it climbs out of the valley with a great view from the top. We then follow the t...

Greenwich Point to Sydney Harbour Bridge

We began our walk at Circular Quay. We caught a ferry to Greenwich Point and followed the harbour back to the bridge. We travelled to Berry Island, Balls Head Point, saw the historic Coal Loader, then on McMahons Point and Lavender Bay and finally Luna Park to catch the ferry back to the Quay. A combination of bush walking, street walking, reserves and boardwalks make up the length of the walk....
GNW IX: A Surprise Encounter
Переглядів 55Місяць тому
We were travelling along Calna Creek when we saw something moving on the track up ahead. It flew into the trees and I captured it as best I could on video. The world’s greatest mimic and when those tail feathers are in full display makes for quite a sight! I love to capture that in the wild on video…maybe one day. Do you know what bird it is? Great North Walk (GNW IX): Mt Kuring-Gai to Berowra
Переглядів 95Місяць тому
With GNW VII: Hornsby to Galston Gorge off the agenda because of repairs and maintenance to the historic Steele Bridge… we chose to complete GNW IX in the meantime. Calna Creek, Berowra Creek, Sam’s Creek and plenty of wildlife. Watch out for the Lyrebird! The climb out of the valley to Berowra Station is challenging but everything else was just beautiful. It’s mating season for the Circada so ...

@@ИгорьЛ-л8й I like to think that they are keeping the music alive! Shame Andy Scott couldn’t be there because of illness. I hope he returns to the stage soon 👍🏼
What a total sham……WHATS THE POINT. It doesn’t look like sweet, sound like sweet, feel like sweet…..ITS NOT SWEET… Find some integrity ….are you that desperate….
@@jamestilburg7947 A great night out had by all! You don’t have to go see them or watch them.
@ sad old men, no kudos of their own …..the things some musicians do to avoid flipping burgers..
I wouldn’t mind if there was zero talent here…..but Lee Small has an amazing voice….such a shame to watch him selling his integrity for the price of a week’s shopping……
Unfortunately a terrible video .!!! Please leave these beautiful animals in peace .!!! WP Humanity .!!!
@@EdwardArmstrong-y3f I am filming with a zoom lens from a distance. The wallaby approached us at first. I think given the location these animals have had a lot of human interaction. It possibly approached us because people have more than likely fed them before. This is at the Garawarra Farm car park after all where tourists regularly park to embark upon the walk to Figure 8 Pools. So I don’t really understand your criticism of my video Edward? But you’re entitled to your opinion. Have a nice day!
Thank God it's a national park
So true…and the Royal National Park is also the world’s 2nd declared National Park too!
I love how enthusiastic the fella in the white t shirt is ! Good for him having a great time listening to his heroes . Pity Andy Scott wasn’t well enough for the gig but the replacement guitarist did him proud .
The band sounded great! Mr White Shirt was certainly enjoying himself as were the crowd. Fun night, shame no Andy..but the band said they hope to return with him 🤞🏼
Where ist it here Sweet?
The gig was played at the Factory Theatre in Sydney Australia. Andy Scott missed the gig because of health issues.
The Sweet! Rip Brian.
Brian…A great vocalist and irreplaceable. Paul and the band doing a damn good job though of keeping the Sweet legacy alive. May Andy recover soon and grace the stage once more!
We want Sweet, we want Sweet, we want Sweet... 👍👍👍 Forever and always 🥰❤
Fantastic 👍🔥🤘🔥🤘🥰
Thank you! Cheers 😊
Love you guys 🎉😍🎉😍🎉😍🎉😍🎉😍
Viva la Sweet ‼️🔥💥🎸🤘
Definitely 😊
How much does it cost to by an old very successful bands name. I doubt there's any original members in that band..
There is only one surviving member of the classic Sweet line up being Andy Scott. Andy has health issues himself and couldn’t make this gig. Regardless… it was a great night and an exceptional performance!
"For Fox sake, Fox On the Run" anyone else sing that lol, they sound great. 🙂
Yes…they did sound great! Excellent performance 👍🏼
Looks fantastic . Is the walking track well marked ?
Sorry I don’t have a map but the walk is a combination of the Still Creek Fire Trail and side tracks, along with the walkway corridor that runs through the suburb and footpaths. No signage. Google maps is your friend 😅
Very very good culture Village tour
Beautiful area is Woolwich and Hunters Hill!
I did this walk and I loved it !
Glad that you enjoyed it! It is a great adventure without doubt 😊
It's Scarborough Park
Yes that is a big part of walk! The area undergoing a few changes of late I see.
when was the footage recorded
NSWmaritimephotographer I believe in the morning of the same day the video was published
Love videos as usual and loving this song!!
Nadine K Thanks 🙏 Nadine 😊 Nice to hear from you. I hope all is well with you!
😍👍🏻 ...beautiful views, convincing my sister to do this walk, how long did the walk take?
Nadine Kabbout You can do it 2 and a half hours or less even, but I would suggest taking your time and enjoying all the sights on offer! Beautiful walk!!
Well done , it's a credit to you !!!
Nemsokára Janika is csatlakozhat! Ez az előbbi útvonal, kb.
Andika, nagyon szép a vidék, amerre jártatok! Jó túrázást továbbra is! Puszi: I.
I work as a conservationist/bush regenerator in this very site. I's my favourite site to work in, for many reasons. It's such a beautiful site in my beloved hometown, Bankstown. I'm so glad it's been saved from development.
Around the lake in particular is a beautiful natural area. It is certainly a contrast to Mirambeena Park opposite.
