the visual book is pretty clean but really really simple
Still in utter shock they didn't win...two freaking tenths. The most balanced, nuanced, utterly perfect sound from a moving ensemble of teenagers I have ever heard in person.

I hate to be that guy but was Carmel smaller this year? Especially their guard? It’s so funny how they look smaller to me but they are still a huge band
Yes, they were a little bit smaller compared to recent years.

@@DaMit123 I’m not exactly sure, because they’re the largest school in the state with around 5500 students.
@@Par-se1ih lots of people joined just because of the Macy's trip last year, plus a smaller freshmen class this year. Still 300 ish strong!

So carmel is a no cut band, so we don't have auditions and allow anyone. Because of that we have a group called E team, because on there drill sheets it says e team at the top, and they are basically the three kids who needed extra extra help during the season. So they would work on technique during practice. Eventually I think we were supposed to find a place for them in the drill, but that never really happened.
My school had like 30 people push props this year because they were really strict about who marched for no reason 😅
@@dannyhixon809dang everybody in our band marches and he have no auditions either, we’re like top 3 in state every year
