Hi did you do the inland track from Coen, to Coen look out, crossing the Stewart River to Hann river Crossing. If so are there any issues to worry about, thanks
Hi Cobba could you please send me how to set up your rear slider
G'day video (all 3) guys thank you so much for sharing. Myself I'm restoring my 1967 VW Kombi to take across Australia. So some of your storage solutions will definitely be incorporated into my bus. ✌️ Peace from Melbourne 3810.
Suggest you replace your 2 agm batteries with two 135ah mobi brand lithium batteries off ebay. You will be pleasantly surprised at their low cost
Great video. Would love to see the video of how you set up the cargo slide
Hey guys! Thanks for the video. May I ask what size your van is? How many feet long?
Have loved watching your videos
Some great ideas
This has been an amazing video and TBH we now have so many questions! like your van we have little USB ports in the van (currently 1) if you could share how you managed to connect more it would be awesome, I like where you put the Diesel heater also. I have one to install before winter 😳. Great video guys.
Your info is so good, thanks so much for sharing with us
These look like great times for the kids. Well done. Great idea with the thermal cooker. Looking forward to your next videos
Beautiful countryside the river crossings add a cool adventurous atmosphere 😎 hopefully you and your great family will continue to post more videos
Very cool trip. That's one giant croc! We had some big ones here in Florida but I don't think that big. We have both alligators and crocodiles. About 4.26 meters so small compared to that
Again well done. Great set up. Thinking of all the great memories you are making for your kids and for you.
Great tour good to see folks getting out there and not spending 100k to do it.
Howdy from Florida. Great set up. I've noticed folks that tour in Australia are very self reliant with how they build their rigs and the tools they bring with them. I hope you will be posting more in the future.
What klm,s per tank are you getting towing. What size tank mate.
Did you pre cook the rice , or steam it in the thermal..??
Any issues crossing the boarder...??
Where is this mate..??
Why did you leave the dog..?? Couldn't you take him to some places..?? Who looked after the dog.. I travel solo with my dogs..
How far up did you get with the van..?? I tow a 13ft , 84 Windsor, with independent suspension.. hopefully it won't rattle apart..
Enjoyed your video... I've seen you guys swimming in creeks. How do you know if there are no crocs? I'm planning bamaga to Cape York at some point in winter of 2022
Where did you get the bin
I reckon the bullbar needed more protection for the headlights, other than that, nice one. PS. how is life on the road with a couple of young ones? Hectic?
Hi guys, very interesting video , we want to take our 22.6 » van next year to the tip, at what time of the year did you do your trip? Thank you
Did you talk about the fridge?
Good video guys. Well explained and was interesting.
Keeping it real, non-superfical... I like it. :) Thank you
Hi guy love your Chanel Love the slow cooker can we ask what brand is it and we’re do we get one from
Hey mate, cheers, thanks for watching. We got ours from ALDI for $99, they only pop up there once or twice a year. You can buy other brands like Eco pot and Dream pot but they cost a fair bit more. If you search thermal cooker on Google you might find some other brands.
Just goes to show you don’t need all that high end gear to do the same thing’s, I’ve got the same battery/solar set up just x2, one for ground panels, we have 3 x 500w
Hey guys very much enjoyed watching your video thank you. 🤙👌 Planning for the Cape next year and was wondering if you could accomplish from the station to fruit bat and back in a day if you had a good run? Thank you in advance. 👌👍🍺
It is possible but depending how early you want to get going in the morning. We left Bramwell Station at around 7:30am and rolled into camp at Cockatoo Creek around 4pm we had a good run and made minimal stops. It was probably another hour from Cockatoo Creek to Fruit bat falls then another 2 hours back to Bramwell on the Bypass Road. If you do the Southern Section of the track and back to Bramwell in 1 day you can always skip Fruitbat falls and visit it on the way up to the tip. It is only about 10 min off the main road.
@@jahlicoadventures8362 much appreciated for replying thank you I’ll keep that in mind thanks again for the info. Happy travels. 👍🤙🍺
Just inspiring for many.Thank you!
Budget??? thats my dream
I know what you mean but this is definitely budget compared to some of the setups on the road we see.
Good videos and very informative. What have you done with your dog? Enjoy
Cheers, she's with us. She's an old girl so sometimes we leave her sleep in the van when we go out.
Great videos guys, always interested to see storage options and hacks! 100% agree Kmart is the best place for the storage stuff, although the Fusion Loc shelves from Bunnings are awesome fir kitchen/bathroom areas.
such a great adventure =)
love it <3
Very good, down to earth video with real people, clean language, useful content. Really liked your video!
Great work.
Great videos thank you! Re the van seat stains- have you thought about pulling a fitted cot sheet over the seat? You can just pull it off and wash it and it helps to prevent the food and slow the drinks from penetrating into the foam cushioning. Saves you having to replace the foam ( which can get stinky) later on.
That is a great idea. I think we will have to grab some next time we are near some shops.
I know your on a budget but Scirocco fans are the way to go. 3 speeds and a timer. Not sure what power they draw. We have 2 Scirocco fans and in summer nights they are on all night on lowest speed and dont hear a . thing. Want more flow have it on middle speed. Are you kids able to reach the first aid kit if required? Where is your fire blanket located? As there only 2 of us i boil water the night before then fill 2nd water bottle and put in fridge and water in another bottle for drinking through the day
In our year in the van, we had glass wine glasses and ceramic mugs and plates. We just always put all the ceramic and glass drink ware in the sink with some hand towels and tea towels. The plates and bowls were just separated with non slip mates between each. never broke anything.
We screwed a bin into the cupboard door under the sink. Works a treat and right at the kitchen.
Yeah this one can go there also but under the sink was pretty full
True Aussie. A fly is trying to get in your nose and not even a flinch!!
Haha, yeah getting pretty used to the flies now. After dealing with the them on the Nullabor anything less is easy enough to ignore.
Cool videos , really down to earth . The wife loves K mart as well, she’s off to get a couple of those little wall caddies today. Thanks for sharing your ideas . 👍
rippa of a van mate, I like it
nice setup mate, safe travels, look forward to more vids
Love to see more about mounting and build ya tray slide sounds perfect
Cheers mate, vid on the cargo slide coming soon. Keep your eyes peeled.
Beautiful travel ideas! 👌 Wish you good luck! ❤️
