You went through all that unpaid training to quit after 3 or 4 short little flights? You’re complaining that training focused on saving people’s lives instead of how to serve drinks? Any colleague could help you learn the food & bev service portion on the job. And if they’re jerks who don’t want to help? Screw ‘em. You’d be working with someone new next trip anyway. You said they even told you in training about dry skin, dehydration & a wacky eating schedule. Did you think they were joking? On the other hand, good for you for making a tough decision. But didn’t you want to at least earn a couple paychecks to recover from being stuck in a hotel without any money for a month? I mean, you were already 99 percent trained and ready to go. I believe in using companies, esp large ones, for every cent I can squeeze out them until I find someone else to pay me. Sorry to be annoying. I only know from YT vids I watch while cleaning the litter box and washing dishes how difficult FA training is and for that reason alone, you’re a stronger woman than I for making it to the very end

I was a front desk associate and I had the worst experience. There was a point where we were left with no manager for almost a month 1/2. We were dealing with all the issues alone bc the owners never picked up the phone. and they were firing people almost every month. The manager in another close location took over and she was offering me a hire position and said they were going to train me for it but kept holding it off and every time I asked them when my training will begin they kept saying don’t worry soon you will.they’ve told me that they wanted me to “grow” in the industry and that I was doing great.But eventually they ended up just firing me and telling me apparently they had complaints about me from guest and that I wasn’t doing my job right. I never been written up or they never even discussed if I had ever been doing something wrong and addressed it to me. I was just randomly fired right after I clocked out. I believe that they were firing people bc the business wasn’t doing well and I was one of the front desk who were paid higher than others and I was also trained by the previous manager who they eventually fired and also the senior sales associate. They kinda did me dirty and “offered” me a hire position just to keep me for a little longer until they could replace me :/

Omg i'm watching this video because i'm on the same situation. I just made it to the training facilities of my airline and i received an email i got the job i wanted so bad. Crazy!! At the same time i fee so bad for my airline because they invested money on bringing me to the training facilites.I don't know what to do! :(
