This video finally helped me. I don’t understand why so many washing machines are made by so many companies that have to be calibrated. I didn’t know about this before I bought the machine. I will never ever buy another machine that has to be calibrated. Never!! Thank you again!

Unplug for a minute 1st .?.don’t think it can hurt.&..results vary,Thx. I have done this before after replacing parts. It finished quickly.Not this time..going through all sorts of functions..Did it this time because I noticed it was filling with cold after I had set to hot. Big down comforter about tore the machine up getting out of balance and full of water..TAKE LARGE ITEMS/fleece blankets ect to the laundromat!!! Don’t abuse/overwork your appliances

Mines have 5 in the big round nobody. It's filling with water go ti the wash cycle then about 15 to 20 mins after throws out the water doesn't wash the clothes, then fills abs don't go into the rinse cycle and throws out the water again. Any help please. Technician said his price is $850 to to a diagnostic then system reboot

Shouldn't any possible codes be cleared first? I hate these new washers, it doesn't seem to take much to trigger something wrong even when there's really nothing wrong... Lol

I just got my brand new washer a few hours ago and trying it for the first time, it’s stuck on wash cycle 😢. I’m praying this works. I tried it and waiting to see what happens….

So I did the calibration mode but yet my sensing light after everything done still says sensing and does not allow me to wash. Could it be the main board or load sensor?

Bought a brane new lid lock, now it's not even recognized after this calibration

I really don't like these new washers! Give me an old one any day that doesn't have any of this digital crap! Nothing but problems with this new model. I'll try to re-calibrate. Wish me luck as this new thing is hammered, not working right. It fills then no lights, acts like its draining.

These new washers are clearly design to need replacing much sooner,than the older models all these new features,are allegedly to make our lives simpler 🤷‍♀️ I prefer the more “manual old ones”. I think I need to this procedure much 🙏🙏.

Thank you! We have 2 garage doors with their own motors with only 1 keypad. After reprogramming with these instructions, the first code is erased and the first door won't open. There used to be 2 codes saved. How do I make both codes stick?

Hello, will this work on any model Whirlpool machine? Mine has the same controls except it's on the right side. My machine doesn't want to go into final spin, would this algorithm fix it too?

I followed these steps and the lights all flash, but once I change cycle to rinse/spin and press START it goes dark and nothing happens. Am I missing something? Washer originally making clicking noise and not changing cycles after a load was heavy and caused off balance.

Mine doesn't want to to into calibration mode. I did it three times. What happens is the green lights flash moving left and then "click" it stops.

What was whirlpool thinking when they made this version of the washing machine this is backwards

Maybe it would be better with the camera angle from the right, since he did it so quickly behind his hand, I couldn't catch it- even after 3 views.
