During the 2024 Summer, I spent a week in Pennsylvania on vacation. Throughout the week I did some railfanning here and there, including one day where I was all around Bethlehem and decided to stop by spots like Macungie. This video are all the trains I saw during the morning and evening while camping out Macungie. Enjoy the video!

After getting word that NS 23G would have the NS 1800 leading, I decided that I’d try to go see it before I wrapped up my day. (Sorry about the lack of uploads, school as usual.) A couple days after my birthday I decided to head to Mine Dock Park to spend the morning watching trains. Luckily for me it was quite busy with highlights such as B780 with a nice throwback lashup and L040 with a classic EMD unit. Me and my friends decided to spend the morning at CP5 on the riverline. We were waiting for an atrociously late I008 with a flared SD70MAC leader. It it ended up coming over 7 hours later than it should’ve and was not exactly worth waiting for.

Is there an app/website you use to see where the CSX trains are going?
If I’m not sure on a symbol I can go to railroadfan.com and look up CSX train symbols on there to confirm it’s origin/destination.

Ehh.. Amtrak on Long Island would be pretty cool. If there were a stop including Jamaica, then that would save a lot of time and headaches going to Penn Station to catch a train. Especially if through service is provided south along the North east corridor...or North to Albany. Definitely worth looking into.
