The person who is the best amongst the group here on the Gold Coast is Isaac. He stayed up for over an hour and his legs are like tree trunks. The next thing is a big set of lungs. Just keep practicing pumping and you will get fitness and stamina. Then there is the mind. When you think you can’t go any farther just tell yourself 5 more pumps. Then 5 more. It’s amazing how much your brain holds you back

I’m sorry to hear you didn’t find it as exciting as you’d hoped. Sometimes, though, the quieter, more laid-back places can be a great opportunity to unwind and reconnect with yourself. In a world full of constant noise and activity, a peaceful, less eventful spot can be just what you need to recharge. That said, everyone has different tastes, and I hope your next destination offers exactly what you’re looking for. Safe travels, and may your next adventure be more inspiring!

Great. You will not regret it. Make sure you come with your swimmers and swim on the incoming tide. A great way to swim (or float the creek) is to start at the little beach at the mouth of the creek and float down until you come to the end of the boardwalk. Hop out. Walk to the little beach at the mouth. Repeat. 😀

How come the surfers let the foilers have this bank to themselves? Is there an unwritten agreement, u guys stay here and we wint bother you

The waves are usually too fat for surfers. This is at Burleigh so most surfers are out at the point. You sometimes get mal riders surfing the bank. Don’t you share with surfers where you come from

no, the best tow foiling waves are almost always empty with surfers. even a really good intermediate surfing wave thats also an amazing foil wave is usually empty for +/- 2 hr at high tide. its a tow foil heaven, rides are several minutes each ride. the problem is that i never have an opportunity to prone as why would you prone when its empty tow heaven. @@daviddempsey5417

plus it costs the same amount to take a cheap longboat out to the surf spot to go surfing which i did for years, as it does to tow the waves

great videos man. As someone that just got their foil, how would you recommend me to approach the ocean?, what kind of waves / wind should i be looking for?

Great question. Have a look at the waves Isaac is riding. Not too big and they spill and then roll into a gutter. All the guys I video do this. They look for the wave allowing them to take off, then pull over the back and pump out to continue riding. All surfers like an off shore wind or no breeze. But since you are riding above the water on the foil you can also surf on shore slop. Hope this helps.
