Amazing setup! Is that Art Dibox passive or active? Thoughts on why you chose one over the other...please. Thanks!
How many stryman’s do you need to make it to heaven ?
Plenty of people have made it to heaven without Strymon pedals, and without any guitar related equipment in general! I truly believe excellence in worship is a calling cast on my life, and these are just tools that simply help to facilitate the practical side of that for me. That doesn’t mean that God doesn’t move without them, with different ones, or with less of them!
Would the HX Effects operate similarity as the Stomp in this set up?
Very nice board. I'm an atheist, so this is going to be a bit spicy and anecdotal. Nearly all these 'worship' board owners are white. Also, why is it Called a worship board? Why not a pedal board? They both function the same correct? I realize the amp and speaker location / needs for a church maybe different but still, it's not all together a vastly different user experience. Anyway, these silly observations and questions are coming from a place of curiosity and slight irritation.
Hi Tom, thanks for the kind words about the board! Attributing this as a worship pedalboard is primarily to give an accurate description about layout. While you are correct that any pedalboard functions fundamentally the same, the environment of using it for worship at church gatherings can necessitate a couple different key functions (namely the ability to access a wide variety of tones quickly). Titling it as such is also helpful to those interested in building a rig with similar functionality.
Nice pedal board. Lots of boutique pedals.
Nice setup! What pedalboard brand are you using?
Hi Duane! As detailed in the video, I'm using an Ear Fuzz Effects 30x18 flat pedalboard surface. Thanks for watching!
I loved it...
So many questions: 1.Is the iridium cab sim that much better than the ones in the stomp. I’m a Iridium user, but considered buying a hx stomp for part of a back up rig. 2. I put my iridium last in chain because I frequently use the headphone jack and still want to hear my delays. Did you A/B the placement of the iridium before/after your wet effects? I estimate the difference to be minimal. 3. I also have my tuner mid way through my chain but wonder why you are not using the tuner out on the VPjr.
Hi Philip! Thanks for taking the time to watch. I really am a bigger fan of the tones I get out of the Iridium amps rather than the Stomp ones, even using the same IRs. I've been very happy to this date about using the Stomp as just a dynamics/routing processor. I did A/B/x blind test having pre/post effects for the Iridium (mostly out of curiosity) and definitely was able to tell a difference, but neither way is especially terrible. It perhaps makes a bigger difference for me than others given that I run the Iridium pretty dirty by default. I choose not to use the tuner out as I always want to be able to have some sort of hard mute in the chain that is independent of a volume pedal, especially given how often I have to do maintenance on my VP JRs! Hope this helps some- if you've got more questions, let me know!
2 big skies?????? What the f-
Hi there, the pedal which you see on your right is just a Mobius, not another BigSky! Thanks for watching.
the sock ruins everything
Nice video and great tones
Thanks so much Matheus!
Great job guys!!!
Imagine if we had waited until tomorrow at 6:00 PM CST to post this...
This guy is amazing
🔥
if there any chance you could share your hx stomp preset? I have the same setup and I will really appreciate it...
Hi Duesy_Sam! I could share my exact preset with you if that's what you really desire, but it's probably not what you want for a couple reasons. In my case, I'm simply using the HX Stomp as an EQ/compressor/systems processor, so my standard preset just has some EQ and compression and no amp/cab simulations of any kind because the Iridium takes care of all of that. If you truly are using the same setup as me (running the Iridium through the Stomp FX loop), I would advise creating an Iridium and corresponding Stomp preset for each guitar that you play regularly and add effects to taste.
@@aidanmiller2773 thank you so much for sharing but unfortunately I returned the hx stomp to GC already. Your sound is amazing. Keep it up
You gotta make a tutorial on how you set all that stuff up

Awesome board!! Only thing I'd change is I'd put the volume pedal after the drives so that the driven tone would stay consistent through swells.
Why do you guys always have to label everything "Worship" . It's a pedal board, and a fine one at that, but theres nothing "worship" about it! What's wrong with "My awesome 2020 Pedalboard Demo" .
I figured that this is more appropriately labeled as a worship pedalboard as it is primarily used in the context of a church setting, and wanted to reach more growing players who may enjoy this type of content. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing - nice you can fit that DI under the board! Great tones, PTL!
Thanks for watching, Pete!
Great tour and great sound. I'm in Lawrenceville Ga, if you ever are out this way hit me up!
Thank you so much man! I will be sure to get in touch if I get the chance to pass through there.
What did you use for a riser on the back row?
Hi Matt! The riser is a standard off the shelf model 2.5 inch riser from FIX Pedalboards- its exact dimensions elude me at the moment but I definitely can get them if you need them. I’d highly recommend!
Great video ! What is the intro theme ? Sounds familiar to me i love it !
Thank you so much Thomas! The intro is an original song by me that is going to be on an upcoming album.
How do you power that line 6 relay g10? Do you power it in pedalboard power supply? it is for USB and I can’t figure it out..
Matej, this is a great question and one I had to do some thinking on to come up with! I am using a 12v output on my CS12 into an automotive 12v to 5v DC to DC converter- the 5v leads of the converter are connected to the corresponding pos/neg leads of a micro USB cable that goes directly to the G10. I’ve been using this setup for a year now and have had absolutely zero issues, I highly recommend it!
Do you use a monitor of any kind for stage volume?
Hi Bryan, I do not! I play only using IEMs at all my gigs, and I'm more than satisfied with the results. Thanks for watching!
2 Chronicles 5: 13 The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord . Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang: “He is good; his love endures forever.” Then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud, and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God.
Spends $3000 on a pedalboard. Can’t be bothered to put on shoes for a demo.....
I see no reason to wear shoes in my own room in the comfort of my own house; it's not a matter of income/not being able to afford them. Thanks for watching!
Watches a pedalboard demo video. Decides to take the time out of their day to make comment criticizing the person for wearing socks instead of shoes in their own home...
Lmaoooo
@@aidanmiller2773 I feel the annoyance of this comment brother. Great demo. Next time go barefoot and watch the trolls come out.
Nice seeing someone else have a gate on their board. Im surprised more players dont use them.
I agree! It's a super useful tool, especially in noisy environments with single coils.
It sounds like he's not using compression ?
I am not! I have the ability to through the Stomp if I so desire, but I am happy with my tone without compression at the moment.
What Guitars are you using to go along with this pedal board setup?
Hey there! At the moment, I am using a partscaster relic Tele that I built, a Reverend Flatroc (which is what you hear in this video), a Classic Player 60s Strat, and a Taylor Solidbody SB2SP.
@@aidanmiller2773 What is the first guitar that we see in the live portion of you playing at church, starting at 22:37 of the video.
@@jamesvh777 That would be the Reverend Flatroc!
Oh my, that is a lot of money in your board. Great job and tone dude!
It’s been a fun project and a labor of love for sure! Thanks for the support and watching!
What MIDI cables are you using?
Great question man! I forgot to mention this in the video, but I am using the Rockboard FlaX MIDI cables with the plastic bracket removed which helps the cables fit just a little bit better. They are cheap, good quality, and I would highly recommend them!
that Klon was just featured on Music Is Win i think. he got it off Wish for like $30.
Interesting! I had no idea- it’s a great pedal for sure.
That one was hand wired in Canada! -t
The all video and description was better then the sounds demo At the end :))
Super useful and informative video - thank you for sharing! Have you tried (or have any opinions on) any of the Strymon drive pedals like the Riverside or Sunset?
Thank you so so much Matt! I have not had the opportunity to try out either option, but I have only heard great things about any of their gain based pedals, whether it be drive or compression. I very much would like to try the Sunset out for the MIDI based control and programmability to fit in with the rest of my setup.
Aidan your board is really well done and everything in the chain is placed brilliantly!!!!! if you could could you let me know what Ir's your running?
Thank you so much for the kind words Matthew! I am using the Ownhammer r(Evolution) Debut Bundle (specifically the 212 AC30 Haas IRs).
Nice build Aidan! I'll have to show my board off soon once I've dialed in my midi =P
Ok now you can practice and actually be good
