Seat Altea Car Wing Replacement (STILLS)
These are still shots of a strip down and replacement of a front wing, passenger side, on a Seat Altea 2004. I needed this job done for an MOT test, I wasn't really bothered about cosmetics, I just wanted the vehicle to pass the test, so did the work at home on my drive way! There was virtually nothing on UA-cam for this so I hope you find it of some help. As you can see I shattered the front quarter pane! I presume this should have been taken out from the inside of the vehicle first, amateur mistake!! Maybe someone knows how these windows are removed so that the two wing screws can be accessed easier, and can post this information for others? The wing was a second purchased from Ebay, undercoated then sprayed a matching vehicle colour with a tin of £15 spray paint from Halfords! I'm reasonably happy with the job, wing was still needing to be buffed but I didn't have an electric buffer to hand! :)

I know this is a 3 year old video but I have the same colour altea and can’t find the spray can colour anywhere did you get this custom mixed at Halfords or was it an off the shelf can my paint code is ls3p which this is I got a custom can made up elsewhere and it was way off
I had this spray paint mixed by Halfords, I couldn't find it 'off the self'. I think the colour code was on the plate by the hinges inside the drivers door. I think you need the full code to get the exact match. Hope this helps..

Friend lived there by Brora Rangers FC ground overlooking Hunters Tweed, visited a couple of times, great golf course, Chicken Supreme in Sutherland Inn was the best, the bar underneath was run by Archie White (Hearts & Oxford Utd) ! well worth a visit.
