I just found your channel through this video. Immediately subscribed. I recently replayed through oneshot world machine edition… well normal run, but i agree. Uhh read more for a recommendation if you want :) I want to give you a recommendation or two of other games that personally caught my heart and pulled it like a puppet, Outer Wilds. Dont look up anything, its a bit pricey, 25$ but its 15 right now due to sales. Its different from oneshot, it pulled on my heart the same way. Sorry for being a walking advert but i think the game is cool and i think you might like it.

OneShot is the ONLY game I TRULY REGRET spoiling for myself. This has never happened to me with any other game before. The closest comparison might be Undertale, but even then, it’s more like, ‘Man, it would’ve been cool to play this game without knowing all its twists,’ rather than, ‘AAAAAAAAAA!!! NOOOOOO!!! WHY DID I SPOIL THIS GAME FOR MYSELF!!! AAAAAAAAAAAA!!!’ Even though Undertale holds a closer place in my heart (for personal reasons), I admit that OneShot is an amazing game! I’m probably about to say something blasphemous, but it’s POSSIBLY, in my PERSONAL OPINION, even better than Undertale (please don’t kill me).

Fantastic video about an incredible experience. I do not know if you take criticisms, as I feel it would be a small, but huge, benefit to sync the audio to your lip movement. This is difficult, but some individuls (like me) find it very distracting. Keep up the incredible work as you grow and develop through your craft. Thank you for a great assertion on this!

"I don't think anyone else is noticing it either... Am I the only one who's seeing this?" "So why am I even here!! What am I even supposed to save if everything is just... fake!?" "This world was never worth saving." "Why are you trying so hard for this? Haven't you even figured what this world IS? Niko's the only thing worth actually saving here!"

Rant incoming, I am SO SORRY, feel free to ignore me I was so done when I got to this point in my first playthrough. I didn't know upfront what would happen if Niko returned the sun. I still don't and I've got about 50 hours of this game under my belt. If I never opened the game again to activate Solstice, what would have happened? The only thing I *did* know at this point was that Niko wouldn't return home. The author told us in the journal that "as long as the sun is intact, the messiah remains trapped here". What happens after we put the sun in? Is Niko "just" trapped in the world, unable to get back to mama, but living somewhat happily in this new world? Is Niko forced to stay in the tower for the sun to continue shining? But if one of the options is as serious as sacrificing the world for Niko's sake, what about Niko's sacrifice? How serious is that? Does Niko die instantly after putting the sun in? Does the sun slowly drain Niko's life force to power itself until Niko's gone? Does it simply require Niko's proximity, nothing more? And how long does the world last even if Niko returns the sun? We don't know what happens, even after choosing the Return the Sun option it's ambiguous, Niko's just gone from our point of view... And, as I mentioned, there's no guarantee that even if Niko lived on, the world would be okay. Many people repeatedly stated that the sun wouldn't fix the root of the problem, that it's only a second chance, not a happy ending. At least we knew that if we shattered the sun, the world would end instantly, so the people wouldn't suffer (as the blond guy next to the library was talking about) and Niko would think this whole journey was only a dream, so hopefully wouldn't feel any guilt for making that decision. Those were my reasons for picking the "Return Home" option during my first playthrough. Obviously neither of the options is great or better than the other and it's entirely up to the player. I wasn't able to make a decision for good 20 minutes the first time. One more thing: when I take into account the original version of the game, *SPOILERS FOR THE ORIGINAL VERSION* it heavily implies that this has happened many times before. A messiah comes, finds the sun, traverses the land, puts the sun in the tower... but then over time the sun goes out again and a new messiah is needed. When we combine this implication with the fact that the sun lights up when Niko picks it up or is in close proximity to it and goes out when Niko is gone for a while (as we can see in the Glen with Maize or when we find the sun again after traversing the tower), it seems probable that Niko powers the sun. So Niko would have to stay in the tower with the sun, eventually dying of dehydration. And even if Niko would be able to leave every now and then to get water and food, the sun would either gradually drain Niko's life force, or (if it doesn't *drain* Niko's life force to stay lit, just needs the proximity), it still would go out after Niko's natural death of old age. And I don't think it would be a very happy life for Niko, spending most of it locked up with the sun... And for this world to live on borrowed time and sacrifice so many people for it, so many "messiahs" in the process... Truly two horrifying choices to pick from. I have more to say, but that can wait for after you finish Solstice, I don't wanna spoil it for you

I really appreciate how much you've grown to care about the game and specifically, Niko. Many people I've watched play this complain about the increasingly hard ways to use the clover app to get deeper into the tower, but you were mostly commenting on the bits of information you were getting from the Author and expressing your worry about what it means for Niko. I'm glad it's working for you 🫰🏻

Prototype basically explains why Niko gets scared everytime you close the game, Since they don't get put into stasis, the world just turns into a black void everytime you close the game. Which is terrifying in itself, Do it enough times and Niko will get used to it though.

Oneshot is an incredible game. Awesome to see a good playthrough of it!

Thers an area called the wild area with no routes, and you have to revisit it a lot. I would say you can catch two pokemon per gym (and your first time there), and then one raid den per two badges.
