My sister gave us her 05 RX330. Wow. So many parts missing from under the hood from all the "service" done to it over the years. Some of the lower panels were missing. I just went ahead and removed all of them and left them off so I can access underneath for a while so I can get access and "see" what's going on. We don't live in an area where they salt the roads. Why put the lower covers back on, I ask myself. That is a clean engine! How do you keep it so clean?

Mike that’s not the MAP sensor, that’s the heater element. The MAP sensor is at the top rear of the intake manifold.

I got here because I have a 302 HO that a previous owner put in my 1966 F-100 pickup. I thought a GT40 was an old Ford race car, one like at the Simeone Museum in Philadelphia. I'm 76 and forgot some of what I did to set the lifter preload in 2020 not long after I bought this truck. The specs for setting the preload to about 20 pound torque are confusing, different amount of turn from 1/4 to 1 full turn, but not consistent in opinion. After the heads were machined before I received the truck the stock pushrods were not long enough, so I had bought 6.300 and used different shims to set preload, from .020 to .040 inch shims. I want to do this again following firing order this time rather than other techniques. It is a little noisy since I changed oil recently.

Where did you get a 2 inch lift spindle? All I can find is a 3 inch lift spindle and it appears that when installed it raised the front too high such that the rear would be lower than the front.

I swapped axles in my 81 Capri when I put the T5 behind my 351w interceptor engine... at 70 mph I had 2000 rpm with 308 gears and factory size 16 inch wheels (GT wheels from a 92, my cousin's... lol) Is your car an automatic? Biggest problem I had, and how I ended up with my cousin's 16 inch wheels from his 92, were the brakes. the 11 inch front rotor and 9 inch drums were only good for about 70 mph once.. and that's 70 to 0 or 140 to 70... that car was incapable of 140 - 0 in one stop. My cousin put the SVO brakes on his, because after we put the Whipple on his, it would outrun the brakes every day of the week. Had the MAC shorty 351 conversion headers, off road H pipe and 2.5 dynomax mufflers with the polished stainless LX style tailpipes, sounded great!

Hey Mike, I have a question, I have a 2010 panamera 4s, my oil temperature, and coolant temperature, have been rising, I'm trying to locate the oil temperature sensor, any advice?

The left over o rings are for the float valve , and the fuel inlet pulls out , the mid body has 4 tiny o rings.

So it was bought as a 7-8 year old car, with less than 20k miles? I think the costs are reasonable for a Porsche, however given the total miles i would hope not a lot has gone wrong. Great vid btw.

you can upgrade the air intake the throttle body the exhaust system and there are some good race chips
