Can u share the Gum Application process

I hate the apexing machine at my company. Firstly the apex is so sensitive to temperature fluctuations, 7/10 times the apex doesn‘t stick to the apexing drum or becomes rock solid when the apex is left at the roller accumulator for too long. Secondly, our apex‘s come out of the extruder as one apex. The splitting knife that separates the apex into two parts sucks. it ain’t even funny. Sometimes the apex gets stuck in there. Thirdly, we don’t have a profilometer so we gotta take measurements with a ruler 😂 Lastly, by the time we put a new strip of rubber compound into the extruder the apex accumulator is already full and cools off to the point it falls off the drum again. I cannot stand it.
