What a treat to hear this conversation. I admire both of these actors very much. When you look at Sasha Alexander, she's so beautiful she reminds me of Dante's Beatrice AND she's funny and down to earth. I really missed both of these actors. Just got to the 4 min mark which is where Shay Mosley makes her mark. Truly one of the worst characters in tv you will ever encounter. Her entire character arc in her 1 and a bit series can be boiled down to dragging the whole cast into an illegal custody battle. Although to be fair and somewhat just, she is merely fulfilling the role of “female protagonist in NCIS series emotionally compromised and/or driven by revenge”. The original female character in the background pilot, Vivian Blackadder, was driven by revenge. Kate Todd was emotionally compromised on multiple occasions purely by looking at someone’s eyes (the Jane Doe turned bomber, and how she couldn’t stab Ari Haswari when she had the chance because she got lost in his eyes). The great majority of female characters on NCIS shows fell into this categorisation at some point.

One of the hardest parts of watching this show is watching Miguel Ferrer getting sicker and more every week. It’s painful watching him slip away piece by piece. The scene where they use his own song to say goodbye is so heartwarming and powerful, truly one of the best moments in tv history.

I love the waiter telling Michael that he doesn't have to explain to anyone where he's going! As a union stagehand who only worked in LA for about a decade before I moved north, I am amused how I had forgotten how incestuous Hollywood is in a good way! I remember meeting someone in a nice little market off the 5, and as we discussed the beers on display, he suddenly turned to me and asked if I was in the business. Turned out we were both stagehands. He had a static job and I was bouncing around (actually, I was still a permit guy) but something I said or did clued him into our connection! I am now a journeyman in Local 50 and I had forgotten how LA can be a protective nest. It can also be a cloying mess, but there is some comfort that someone nearby is a brother or sister, and we don't always know it!

This is definitely going to be controversial but I feel like in NCIS New Orleans died when they killed off the best character Christopher LaSalle And I feel like the same thing happened with NCIS after Gibbs retired just started getting boring and well yes it gives it still in there and yes it gives is technically returning in NCIS origins I don't think the original NCIS is going to really go back to what it was before Gibbs left
