I've always played a mix of top and llw/mkd tier. I haven't tried with Cyclops and Psylocke. Psylocke is probably a bit more straightforward, but Cyclop's last hit makes me very skeptic.

Sure was!

You can learn Storm, she's probably the most versatile character in the game. You can play her rushdown or zone, or just rushdown if that's what you want. I don't get ROM execution 100% all the time, so sometimes I resort to Magneto's 5 Fierce combo, which gives you an easy big damage + priority on knockdown. On higher levels, you don't want to give your opponent a chance to play and execute their strategy... But that's like Duc, Khaos, Pasadena, Amir level. So if you just started, you can start learning 5 fierce and mixups with Magneto/Psylocke. Also, reaction is one thing, but my Magneto for example, is more of a flowchart style (meaning, I follow an execution pattern that's comfortable to me).

@@Omegaredish Thanks for the advice, but just a few things: 1. When I decided to add one of the god tiers to my team, Storm was the first one I ruled out alongside Cable because Storm is the best character in the game, and Cable is a zoner, I probably should have mentioned that. 2. If all I need for Mag is five fierce and mixups with Psy, I'm good, I honestly thought I needed the ROM but at low level I guess not. 3. I imposed that rule upon myself because I didn't want to be like everyone else, only playing top tiers, I wanted to diverge! But if I'm not mistaken: divergence gets you killed in MvC2, Right? and if not, are there any non-top tier characters that would fit well in-between Mag and Psy? or even in front of them? so far Juggernaut is simple and fun, anyone else that might work better?

He's very annoying to deal with!

@@tonycervz89 Bison comes out too slow, he'll get blown away by Commando whole day, any day. Also this guy's pretty good!

I don't know how he experiences it on his end. From my end, I could be making inputs that don't register - the downsides of playing mags online. But it was ok in general.

@Omegaredish it looks a bit shaky on your side already, it's probably 5x as bad against others 😂. U probably get a lot of plug pullers or one and done-ers because of the lag they see. But u play with what u got

I play with other Mags with red dots too, and I can bear maybe 50 to 60% of them. Teleporting is not always the case, I guess especially if both ends do their job and actually play wired and decent specs PC. Some locations like EU to US East Coast work (not perfect, but it works), while some are just plain unbearable. But yes, if it's not a good connection, I expect people to not continue. That's fine with me too. (And hope they don't use it as an excuse just to avoid me).

@@Omegaredish Great to see you 2 encounter each other for some matches! Strago combos with that Hulk assist as well as anyone. Looks like he's trying to figure out how to use it effectively with Guile in place of his usual Colossus.

@@derekhype very few teams get by without an anti-air. If not a true anti-air, they somehow got to intetcept incoming attacks like BB.Hood, Venom and Sent. Unfortunately, Silver Samurai did not fill the chiiping nor the defensive requirements 🥲

@@Omegaredish Silver Samurai is definitely harder to play with. Probably why you don't see a lot of people using him. However, I like Silver Samurai. It would be great to see you run the team back with Jin/SS/Hayato one day.🤞🏽 Keep up the great work👍🏽

@derekhype aaaah that would actually make the team more mid tier, then! I just rwally find Silver Samurai's design and gameplay really boring! 😅 But yeah, I can give that a shot!

I've replaced Silver Samurai with Jin. Much better results!

@@derekhype Thanks! Cold, you mean Ice Man? Yeah, Silver Samurai doesn't do as much chip as I hoped he would, and it's very easy to jump out of his assist, even when he throws it at close range. Their THC is also not as strong (even at level 3), and when Silver Samurai is out, he doesn't get that much help. I'll maybe try to give Jin a try with this team.

@@Omegaredish I mean the ice power ups. His ice super and armor might help. Ice super does decent chip. Yeah, all SS assist suck. I agree with you about Jin. He would help Hay/SS. Now that you mention it, Iceman with Silver Samurai would be pretty cool...... have you ever considered Iceman/Samurai/Storm ? 🤔
