Not user friendly at all. We had the make my river page set up to watch the river levels at a glance to see what was coming our way and prepare if need be. This is a fiasco.
What a mess. Why fix something that’s not broke? Somebody’s brother-in-law got a fat government contract.
I know of only one way to fix the problem you created besides scraping this new user unfriendly site and going back to the old site. I HATE THIS NEW PAGE! IT SUCKS!

This new site sucks!
This went from way user friendly to a total pain the butt….as a commercial fisherman depend on being able to bookmark a link and go right to the page we need. I’m the youngest out any of the Covington commercial fisherman and am the only that can check the river because these old timers aren’t that savvy on a phone….so they just don’t check it now and that’s actually pretty dangerous if you don’t know or have an idea of what the rivers going to do. Please simplify this for us.

29-Apr-24 -- I tried to view the precipitation map => RIVERS, LAKES, RAINFALL=> RIVER LEVEL (?)=> PRECIPITATION (?) where the overall precipitation over the CONUS was displayed as a contour map, and then 7 day, 30, 60, 90, 180, 360 day accumulated precip could be selected; choice of act accum, % of avg and so forth. I CANNOT FIND THIS INFO ANY LONGER. I have found this to be quite helpful in the past, given I have farmland in an area that got around 3+" in the last day and nearby, 7+" Is this feature no longer available? If it is, how can I find it?

I am a Water Treatment Operator for the City of Tuscaloosa and it would be interesting if we could use this material in the treatment of potable water. Data from lakes, streams, and rivers, etc. I'm sure it could be useful for determining future water quality issues at the individual treatment plant or for industrial use. Really cool stuff though. I definitely just expanded my knowledge by watching this. Thanks.
