I'm glad there are so many people who loved this, unfortuantely, I hated it. At 3 1/2 hours, I've had it and cannot listen to another second. Just finished listening to Dearest Rogue, (Maiden Lane #8), far and away THE best "historical romance" book I've come across yet, and I've listened to a lot. No idea why it was given that title, since the male character was the polar opposite of a rogue, but it makes good clickbait. Be sure to listen to that one, it's a terrific story.

Who would listen to a book that started with chapter 12?

She wields considerable influence on everyone but her uncle.Her actions are driven by her loyalities to her sister or loving Gideon .Will Gideon be able to save what seems to be totally hopeless ?Great book that deserves reading.

What a bother this story.I hated George's constantly telling fairytales.She is 28 and acts like 12 excepts when she is having sex.😅

Gave up at the 4.;59 mins mark. Can't imagine what could possibly happen to redeem this man, and after reading all the comments seems he doesn't get redeemed.
