Thanks for your reasoned comment, I'm really pleased! As an Italian and also a fan of Opera IX, your critical sense and musical taste makes me more than happy. Talking about this genre, emotions and expressiveness in the voice (especially) are difficult to dose, since funeral doom aims to give a sense of desolation and sadness, generally speaking, enriching the voice too much with techniques such as vibrato would take away a bit of context and sound out of it (or at least this is my approach). Consider that my clean voice could sound a bit monotonous or flat because of the tuning at 436 Hz, and the ear could be affected by this at first listens. Anyway, yes I'm still in my training phase! We already have several ideas for the third album, and we are also considering distorted bowed string instruments, so your suggestion is spot on! We will probably make something darker and more oppressive, closer to the "typical" funeral doom played with distorted guitars. We would keep the tuning at 436 Hz and the basses as main electric instruments, and the atmospheric approach. This project is in continuous development so there will never be an album the same as the previous one, and as you could have noticed by listening to the tracks, even within the same album the songs have a different timbre and sound. The last track "Decadence in Minor" was meant to sound like it came from a gramophone (but not in low quality). The lyrics can help you understand this choice! We realize that it is also quite experimental. Thanks again for the comment and considerations :)

Thanks for your comment and suggetions! We play with electric bass instead of guitars so mixing is always tricky, especially if you want to obtain an atmospheric result with some hearable distortions. Cheers

4:55 the Bass Solo made me think of one of the CASTLEVANIA tracks which is a good thing always is truly great the concept of 2 Bass players and woman and male.. of course there's a Drum and prob keyboard on background will love to record at least one Doomy Guitar riff for you guys some day
