I was expecting a thumping great crossplane V8 😞

Neither this nor the V10 version feel the same without higher RPM. 15 - 20k RPM is the soul of F1. Even the V12s were pushing 14-15k back then.

I feel like it resembles the 05-08 era

They need a Lap 20 when the car starts downshifting on the straightaway to recharge the battery.

Is it just me or does the ‘26 Ferrari look like the F2007 from a distance? Especially the nose cone and it’s height from the ground, to an extent the front wing as well.

V10 but how many CC ?

It will never happen. F1 will always follow the manufacturers and the industry direction. This is hybrid, more efficiency and more power. Noise is wasted energy. Those who want V8 or V10s have vintage series racing.
