The Kaleido M6 and M10 does not come with heating elements installed. Refer to this quick how-to video to get your roaster set up for the first time. Allow 15-20 minutes for installation. It does not happen often, but had two Kaleido touch screens that seemed bad and unresponsive. Possibly the calibration was reset by accident, but the screen does not work. It is very easy to reset the calibration of your Kaleido Roaster Touch Screen.

The latest version of the Kaleido Roaster utilizes an updated control board which allows a simplified connection to the Artisan software. For older versions of the Kaleido Roaster, please refer to our other videos which utilize ASET file. The Beta version of Artisan 2.8.3 just dropped a few weeks ago. If you have not downloaded it for you Kaleido Coffee Roaster, I think you are missing out! Make sure to hang on to your previous version, but this version now supports Kaleido without additional files. I wish I had a short video like this when I first started with Artisan software. I hope this explains the basics. We are not doing a roast, but I think this will be extremely helpful. Sharing an Artisan profile is pretty easy to do, but you can also share Kaleido profiles. This video walks you through the steps. Its kind of a no-brainer but I wanted to make sure everyone know they could do it.

It was a bit confusing at first, we do not necessarily want our charge temp to be the same as the target temp. Josh R. put together a great short video explaining how to set your charge temp as well as a target temp. If this is not set up correctly, you might not reach the level of roast you are looking for.
