From the get go, HSR seem to have different "terms" that sometimes appear in dialogues such "Stellaron Hunters", "Emanator", "Nous", "Nanook", "Erudition", "Destruction", etc. My tip for new players that want to enjoy the story is to check out the *"Data Bank"* in the phone menu. There you can check the meaning for different terms. Once you unlocked the Data Bank feature, I suggest to make a video where you read these terms cuz sometimes they written kinda funny too and aren't long either. My suggestion to check out *"Aeons"* first, and then *"Factions".* "Aeons" are similar to "Archon" in Genshin. Aeons are billion times more powerful but essentially they are Gods that play an important role in the story (there isn't any spoiler in data bank). While Factions are followers of these Aeons, one of them is the Astral Express.

You know, it is better for him to watch both the trailer and how their skills work instead of relying on the trailer to gain a better understanding of the characters. Have you tried the game? If not then I reallt recommend it. Star Rail UI/Menu look similar to genshin so it shouldn't overwhelm you to try this game.

Talismans are written in vermillion which represents pure Yang energy. Hoyoverse seems to understand that reaction and let's play content for their games helps get more eyes on their product (and therefore more money in their wallets, lmao). i wanted to answer a question you had after watching Kinich's trailer-- the reason the language was different (Japanese, if you were wondering!) is because the English voice actors for the game were on strike during the time that trailer was made. Formosa, the company which Hoyoverse hires their VAs through (for genshin specifically) was not providing proper protections for their talent against AI voices, so all VAs under that company made the decision to strike until their protections are to the proper levels. the strike is still ongoing as of posting this. if you're interested in reading more about it, there's a page on wikipedia (2024 SAG-AFTRA video game strike), but if not, then i'm happy to have given you enough information to sate your curiosity 😄

There is so much to do in this game that it's insane lol! Genshin has a LOT of lore and it is still going after 4 years. The overall main story and the character stories are easy to get invested in. My favorite characters are Wanderer, Navia, Nahida & Kinich just to name a few. Looking forward to more videos!

Hello Colin and welcome to Genshin! I'm always excited to see new players to the game. I'm a day 1 player myself. My main acct MC is Lumine the sister, but honestly the story is the same whether you choose Aether or Lumine. I enjoyed watching this first ep of your gameplay and hope you will continue it. I agree that the graphics and scenery on the game are really nice. Also, I'm a big fan of the music. The game starts off slow in the first area, but as you go on, you will see it flows more smoothly as you progress. Anyway, I hope you continue to enjoy the game and I look forward to watching more of your Genshin journey. I just subbed 😊

Imagine that every character has a story… genshin has a lot of lore and everything is connected! The versions trailer are very good and tells a little about every character (with no spoilers or no important ones) i’ll be watching u reacting to them :)))
