Hey! I'm Alim - the Founder and CEO of Ambitious Labs, the leading no-code app building academy.
I have 10+ years of experience building early stage startups. At age 19 I co-founded Season Share and built SaaS software used by major league sports teams in the USA and 3m+ users. My software processed over $10M+ in revenue. Then, in 2020 I joined PrizePicks when we had just 10K users and I helped grow the app to the #1 App in the App Store and 3M+ users.
I guess you can say I know how to build highly scalable software.
Now, I teach people how to do the same.. without writing code!

My name’s Alim and over the last 10 years I’ve built 12+ apps. At age 21 I co-founded SeasonShare, a B2B SaaS for sports ticketing and grew the company from an idea to $10M in revenue. Then I built PrizePicks, the #1 daily fantasy sports app in the USA.
Throughout my career I’ve mentored 100+ early stage startups and angel invested in several.
Now, I’m the founder of Ambitious Labs, the leading no-code app building academy in the world. We’ve trained 450+ entrepreneurs on how to launch their app ideas themselves.
🚫 I’ve spent over $500k+ hiring developers on Upwork/Fiverr just to be ghosted and left with unusable code
🚫 I’ve written code for 15,000+ hours.. Lost sleep, been hospitalized for stress, and suffered extreme mental health issues. TLDR: coding sucks.
🚫 I’ve watched hundreds of founders burn their hard earned cash without validating their idea
🚫 I’ve seen people take out new credit cards to launch an app.. Just to lose it all…
And i do not want the same to happen to you.. Now in the area of no-code and AI, the smartest builders are
✅ Staying in control of their app by building it themselves using No-Code and AI
✅ Focusing on a lean MVP scope to avoid building something no one wants
✅ Following the same framework that billion dollar apps like Duolingo, Calm, Headspace, Tinder and others use to build revenue generating products
Through my failures and wounds - I built a launching acceleration platform called Dreams Into Apps that over 450+ builders are actively using to bring their ideas to life.

Can I stream the assistant on web app? It is not working for me...
Do people get hung up on development needing to be quick? If I design an app to be around for years surely it’s worth investing time integrating the best option rather than the quickest. I have SQL experience and cannot figure why anyone would develop a nosql option apart from the most basic of apps
Hi, which tool are you recording your screen with?
It works great you have to exit it better
Make?
From where you learned
Great I appeciate it.
one day I'll be here 💪
Great video
So should I make use of the close integration with Firebase and link the frontend to it from the FF editor? Could I still place a backend in between? Or should I connect to a database only from the backend builder?
meh doesnt even work when I clicked the talk to assistant, and to top it off it gives non useful error "assistantoverrides.each value in clientMessages must be one of the following values: conversation-update, function-call, ..." like dude I just used your own template and it doesnt even work? just lost a new prospect safe to say 😂
Cool
2:08 seems like preparing for an interview 😅
Hey Alim! I came across your channel a few weeks ago. Really appreciate what you're doing, and stoked to hear of your experience in sports tech! I'm a Product Manager now building a sports tech app using Xano/FlutterFlow. Super inspired by all that's going on in this space, and appreciate how you're helping build the ecosystem. Keep up the good work!
It is built on flutterflow brother
This behind the scenes with one of your former students who actually built and launched a revenue-generating app is inspiring. Videos like this help us gain trust in Ambitious Labs and the accelerator. Thank you for sharing and being a humble builder / creator.
Very practical advice and to the point. Thank you for your advice. I appreciate how you're giving back to the SaaS startup community while also offering avenues for deeper engagement with your accelerator.
Heck yes!! Currently on hour 40 straight right now! May have to hit you up on Discord more often. The flow states at night are quite phenomenal with little distractions.
Will try this out thank you Alim
I was just thinking the delete account part at 5 min right before you said that. Just found that out when Apple denied an app submission and it hit me.. it does make sense 😂 Then I had to allow the chat for users to report or block users And then had to put text stating that Apple is not sponsoring or affiliated with the national door to door sales competition Many learning lessons 😅
❤❤❤❤
congrats mate!!
please anyone can help me i have a problem with connecting firebase with my flatterflow i trayed many many times after i click auto generate it does not showing me connect button
wow, nice
Alim, I may have to go this route.. Reach out please... Thanks
Cheers 🥂
Congratulations sir❤🎉
I'm learning Figma, then FlutterFlow via Ambitious Labs. I spend 3 hours a day.
What is the link of the app?
hey, lets chat?
Too many buddy buddy fitness apps on the market
So many wrong info giving in this video. 1) if your app is a web app, you always going to get the latest version you have in production. In mobile is another story. But you can still implement over the air updates to handle this. 2) is ok to keep logic in the frontend especially if you want offline support for your mobile app. 3)not all api keys can be stored in the backend. Some example of these are Google maps, Google address, and anything that requires your components to work properly
@@daflyboy04 you are 100% right :)
Yes been following through
Could you please provide a LINK to the app discussed on this video.
Congrats
:)
