There is more than one tilt coaster in the world. Unless you were specifically talking about vekoma. Battle of Jungle King, Broken Rail, Tilt Track Coaster and even Escape from Gringotts is a tilt coaster. The tilt on that coaster was built by vekoma although Intamin is listed at the ride manufacturer.

Great Adventure didn’t want to remove Kingda Ka the park was about to refurbish the entirety of the ride with new paint and a rebuilt hydraulic launch system for 2026 before the merger. The replacement for Ka better be better than Ka because 2025 will probably have the lowest attendance in the parks history.

Simple corporate greed they don't want to invest into the park ka has a operation cost at least of 1 million dollars a year you see how much the top corporate positions and see how much money they have made in the past 20 years and how much it has increased and how much the park quality has decreased always follow the money

Personally, I think that this is going to be good overall for the Six Flags chain… But not necessarily good for Six Flags great adventure. That park has been hurting the last few years in attendance and I think with the removal of these iconic rides it’s going to hurt even more at least for the next season or so… I know they have something planned in 2026, but I don’t think it will top what kingda Ka was.

Quit posting these conspiracies about why this POS attraction is being removed!!! They made the decision to remove this pos ride because it was costing more money than it was worth in maintainence and operations. Other parks across the chain are also considering removing their underperforming and high maintenance rides as well as a cost cutting measure that will hopefully ensure that more funding is available to actually install new rides and attractions across the chain with the focus being on installing rides that are low maintainence and high reliability. The company is also focusing on quality over quantity at most of the parks as the costly days of the ridiculous coaster wars are over and done with.

Well, the Busch garden parks. Both Tampa Bay and Williamsburg are not owned by Cedar fair Six Flags at all. They are their own entity.

Remember when McDonnell Douglas and Boeing merged, then it started to feel like McDonnell Douglas is fully taking over everything? In a way … that’s what’s happening here Six Flags and Cedar fair merged but you can tell who’s on the board and making the big decisions and it’s clearly CEDAR FAIR.

Kingda Ka and Zumanjaro was definitely one of my most ever favorites. I'm definitely certain that by 2026, Six Flags will definitely put in a new multi record breaking launch coaster.

Yes I think the records will be broken, but with specialized roller coasters, like a smaller "drag racing" for speed, a long coaster in a teamed valley with moderate speed and elevation etc, a roller coaster that will take ALL records? No, or attest not until a to rich arab oil sheikh say, build me something grander then Falcons Flight, money are not a problem.

Also, what's funny is now that Ka is officially retired, and Formula Rossa was SBNO and now is having its launch track removed, Top Thrill is once again the tallest and fastest roller coaster... But it too is also SBNO after only like a week of operation.

Do-Dodonpa and Kingda Ka were two of my bucket list coasters for their launches :(

My opinion, the coaster that started the wars was MILLENNIAL FORCE. Im in Baltimore, this was Kings Dominion, Bushgardens and SixFlags country, We never heard if this “ Cedar Point “ these out westeners ppl spoke of. Lol Millennium force CHANGED THAT. Height oh my God speed holy shit…, it was all on our evening news when it opened. When they said the height on the news broadcast, this was my face😳… I said…”did she just say that roller coasters was 300 foot tall”

Large coasters, including Falcons Flight, tend to have low capacity. For me that's a big issue. Operations in US parks is ridiculously bad so even the theoretical low capacity isn't reached. This needs changing. And could be a new record. In NL2, I tend to build nice B&M Hypers with >2500 PAX/h. While you're right, I don't think those records will ever be broken again, I could see length the most realistic one to be broken. Needs friction fix on steel coasters. Though I think that's possible.

So sad it getting shut down. So glad I got to go on it

Falcons flight could only exist where it is. It would never be built in the US. No state is going to sanction and Insure a 600ft high. Coaster that moves at Near Ferrari Top speed (160mph+) lol NOW the biggie. No Theme Park company on earth has PIF money. Having the world‘s largest public investment fund as your parent company is how falcon’s flight got built. Actually is how that entire Six Flags got built ,Cedar fair did not pay for that park.
