Amazing episode. Omar is always great. I had never heard of him surviving a sniper attack by the IOF. Absolutely tragic how often these attacks go completely under the radar. Palestine, and all oppressed people’s, have the right to resist these crimes against humanity.

Why do you speak in English on the podcast?

This inspirational young woman's English tells me that - if not American-born - she certainly spent her childhood, formative years, and went through higher education there. No one would judge a person with such a profile for choosing to cleave to the 'security' of the American citizenship which she doubtless has. As such, it is so heartening to see that not only has she NOT turned her back on her Palestinian heritage, but she is WALKING the (most dangerous ) of 'walks' by actually LIVING in Palestine in the current, historically unprecedented, (even for them!) Zionist reign of terror against the Palestinian people. Her parents must be so proud because she is a credit to her family and her people, and an example of humanity at its best to the rest of us.

It sucks to have a terrorist dad, unfortunately. The terrorists think they can terrorize, then go home to a normal life. Sorry, no. Some innocent victims, but not necessarily random.

The war started when Hezbollah fired rockets on October 8, before Israel had even entered Gaza. Israel, for its own reasons, has responded with less force than it could have. It could have been fully justified at any point in escalation. So now they’ve decided to “enter a new phase."

Really loved this interview! Rarely do I agree completely with a Lebanese political podcast, but i have to say Ralph was very objective. No sides taken but clearly stating facts and opinions supported by past and current events.

i think mr baydoun is a litlle bit too pessimistic. the unlimited support that israel enjoys can disappear in the blink of an eye if the political class in the west starts to see israel as liablity for their personal careers, which is already starting to happen. for the first time ever, AIPAC is hiding their contributions to some politicians in the US though shell PACS. also, a think tank in israel said that the entire country of israel is being held together, economically, by a class of around 350'000 people and they warned that those people are very susceptible to leaving the country if things get unconfortable, and if they did, the country would basically collapse
