    I think the Logbook was Reused by the Guys who built Fazbear's Fright's Horror Attraction, They put it in the prize counter/Rewards area, seen in What We Found, and that's why there's a Note at the beginning of the book: "Sorry-looks like somebody's already written in this one... You don't mind, right?"

    There is something that could *maybe* clue to us in to at least a time period, which is "For real value, see page 61", written by Mike on $16 coupon. Page 61 shows a chalkboard with the numbers "5+4" and "3" on it, which gives us 27 (doubling as a hint for the Cassidy code). The Survival Logbook was released in December 2017. If we throw all of this into an inflation calculator, we get that $27 in 2017 equals to about $16 in 1993, the year most people assume is when FNaF1 takes place. Therefore, it may stand to reason that the logbook is set in modern times, which would make sense with it happening after Sister Location. The common rebuttal to this is that this isn't how real value and inflation work, but that requires assuming that Scott (and/or whoever worked with him to make this book) actually has a solid understanding on the topic. He's not an economist, he could very well have ended up using it incorrectly for this hint, just as I'm sure many FNaF fans may not be well versed in economics either (and admittedly I'm not either, I'm just going off common talking points I've seen). Regardless, this would give us a timeframe of 2017+ for the logbook (as 2017 would have been the latest year Scott had data for at that time, so he wouldn't be able to use something like 2023 if he wanted to). In You're the Band we do see Michael continuing to work as a security guard at the long shut down Freddy's in 2015, and in the first movie he also works at Freddy's long after it closed, so maybe that could be tied in somehow? Mike did get fired in FNaF1, but the logbook is for new security guards so he could have gotten rehired in modern times. He was looking for William ever since Sister Location after all, and we don't know what he was doing in between Sister Location and Pizzeria Simulator. But he failed to find him then (even though he was literally stuck in the building, albeit probably sealed in given Phone Dude's calls, but whatever) and got fired again or left the job by himself or something like that, and so the book was given to the next guy who took the job.

    4:34 Maybe the drawing is meant to indicate that michael believes the mci kids are still there and decided it's too dangerous to go there? 6:00 Maybe he can still taste He just likes to taste it 6:59 That's something that always annoys me about the logbook, yeah If the convesation between cassidy and crying child happened on it's own then that's perfectly fine and could even go anywhere in the timeline after they meet as ghosts But if the implication is meant to be that michael was also involved and they had that conversation while haunting the logbook...when the fuck would that happen?? The only time frame that would make sense would be post-1 but before the mci remnant gets put into the funtimes If yenndo is cassidy it would even explain why she doesn't attack michael during the canon sections of sister location Maybe it could be like in the novels where shattered souls basically become multiple copies of themselves? That way it could explain why there's copies of cassidy and crying child in this logbook while they're also in molten freddy but it's still a pretty messy explanation... Like everyone else is saying, the most likely explanation is that it's only semi-canon It doesn't exist in-universe but it does tell us stuff that happened in-universe, mainly cassidy helping crying child remember stuff with michael maybe also being involved That said, i do have this pesudo theory i thought of I don't have any evidence, it's just a random thought i had What if this whole book was made by cassidy or charlie or whoever for the sole purpose of recruiting michael's help in putting crying child back together? That's why it doesn't seem like a real product, because it's a fake one that is only meant to look like an official product! If anything, all the inconsistancies would lead michael to realize it's not a real book! It's a magical ghost book made by an mci kid who used stuff from all over the place because they either didn't realize some stuff didn't fit or did so purposely to make him realize the truth!! At first michael treats it like a real thing but eventually catches on and helps cassidy with crying child's memory problems!! But yeah, there's no way that's the answer Why would cassidy or charlie recruit michael's help like this? Can't they just ask? What made it nescesary to go through such a complicated process? And then there's all the stuff about the fazbear company acquring it and giving it to someone else which just doesn't make sense And like you said, when would cassidy have the opportunity to do it

    Personally, I view the Logbook to be Phone Guy’s own book he created in order for newer employees to have their own guidebook at Freddy’s. But given so much timeline shenanigans, I think Ralph ended up leaving parts in the Logbook while being aware that Freddy’s 2 is a sister location to Fazbear while Afton Robotics is also a Sister Company to Fazbear. On one hand, I think Fazbear’s Fright use to be some sort of school building for Fazbear employees or like an office building, or maybe a corporate academy… but eventually it was bought out and turned into a Horror Attraction. This can also explain Cassidy and BV’s text speeches in there, they probably printed what they’re saying and Cassidy had to go with visible erased messages. So here’s my wild timeline of it: 1986 - Ralph starts working on the Logbook - Cassidy starts communicating to BV with the Logbook and followed Ralph to wherever he went. 1987 - Due to how ugly the Withereds were, they got abandoned and used for parts. Now Fazbear uses the Springlocks to teach the AI Toys to do things that animatronics are performed to do. - Ralph starts recording Training Tapes for Fazbear employees about the Spring-locks. - Multiple Spring-lock failures occurred and the classic suits, Golden Freddy and Spring Bonnie, were locked away in the safe room back at the original Freddy’s. - William takes the Spring Bonnie suit out of there and goes to commit the DCI. Which would work with Ralph establishing “Management has also been made aware that the Spring Bonnie animatronic has been noticeably moved” - FNAF 2 occurs; Ralph gets records from events happening around FNAF 2. - William steals the Funtime Springsuit from Fazbear and took it to Afton Robotics. 1988 - Ralph disregards the Springlock Quiz later on. - Old Freddy’s was now put to construction due to extensions. - SL Bunker ends up making a vent entrance to Freddy’s. 1993 (personally) - Freddy’s opens - Ralph finishes his Logbook. - TWB occurs - FNAF 1 occurs - Mike takes the Logbook with him, which causes Caissy and BV to follow him. SL’s placement (2003 personally) - Mike starts to communicate with the Logbook after knowing much about William’s work. Somewhere around Fazbear’s Fright construction (personally 2023) - Fazbear School was now turned into Fazbear’s Fright: The Horror Attraction. - Mike ends up leaving the Logbook when getting bored in the new Fazbear’s Fright. - FNAF 3 occurs - Henry finds the Logbook and writes a sticky note saying “Sorry-looks like somebody’s already written in this one… you don’t mind, right?” (Pure speculation btw) - Henry then tries to find Mike but couldn’t. Then Mike found his way into finding Henry during FFPS Although, disagreements are fine. It’s just a way that I want to view the Logbook since I thought the theory was actually a fun idea, but good video nonetheless

    Why can't Mike simply have gotten it from the FNaF 1 location and simply kept it with him after that, making it so that he writes in it at multiple points in time? That doesn't solve everything, theres still some pages and activities that are really weird, but it does make sense of Mike's writting. I suppose the problem would be the sticky note at the beggining, but maybe you could excuse it as either: 1-The sticky note is *for* Mike, not for someone after him. It could be that it's warning him of all the ghost writting in the book, or if we take into account the fact that the book is all bloody, maybe it's a reference to other guards that had the book dying before Mike's shift. 2-Technically, even if the sticky note is for someone that would have used the book after Mike, it doesn't have to be at the time of FNaF 1, he could have returned it to the company by the time of FFPS or smt. I guess theres the third option as well, that the sticky note is a meta thing. I mean, the entire concept of the book is kinda that *you* are writting in it and that it's yours, so the sticky note would simply be talking to the reader about Mike's writting. Obviously, we aren't actually canon to the story, so it would just be a fun bit that you aren't really supposed to look too much into on what it means for the story.

      That would kind of imply, Mike was adding pages to the logbook

  • @celestialpurp
    @celestialpurp 13 годин тому

    For simplicity of the conversation, I'm going to be assuming the book was intended as FNAF 1, rather than 3. Otherwise, to assume it's 3 brings up more questions about why the stickynotes, especially "don't talk about the springlocks" exist. Additionally, material like the Rules at Freddy Fazbear's (Page 85) feels very random and unnecessary to show up, considering it's the most direct FNAF 1 Clue you can make, considering it's almost never brought up after the fact throughout the entire series otherwise. This also ignores that the book just references various FNAF 1 movement patterns (Page 76/77) - so if it was written by Fazbear's Fright, how in the name of Frankfurt do they know about that type of information - if FNAF itself isn't an in-universe game series by now? 5:06 is the main list I'll be trying to explain to the best of my ability, and I'll group these into four categories: * Fazbear's Fright | Why is FNAF 3 Referenced? * Safe Room / Springlocks | Shouldn't the Saferooms not be mentioned by FNAF 1? * Nightmare Fredbear (which can technically also be Nightmare himself - as the two share identical designs) | When is 4's Gameplay? * Exotic Butters / Casual Bongos | When does Sister Location take place? 1. Why is 3 Referenced? Beginning with Fazbear's Fright, it's a simple, if dodging the question type answer. I don't think it's trying to imply the Book is 2023 - considering nothing about FNAF 3 otherwise is really referenced. What I believe it's trying to say is the player of FNAF 3 is in fact Michael Afton - aka FoxyBro. As FoxyBro is the FoxyBro because of the Foxy mask, showing the literal character of Foxy - as apposed to a human, makes that link pretty clear, and heavily emphasized throughout. 2. Why are there Saferooms referenced during FNAF 1? The Saferoom paradox is very difficult to have a clear answer. Since Ralph in the FNAF 3 tapes mentions that the saferooms are being sealed today (ala it's happening right now, and Ralph still has to be alive - ala Follow Me is before FNAF 1 - listen to the Night 6 call for reference), there's little reason for the Saferooms to still be relevant by now. With that being said, it could be explained as if the book is a generalization of Fazbear as a brand in general. If Follow Me is supposed to be before FNAF 1, then it's possible that Fazbear intended for 1's location to have a saferoom (which the layout of Follow Me is just FNAF 1's location near 1:1), but due to budgetary (and likely safety) reasons was gutted out of the final version late into the building's (and thus book's) public release. With that, to spend so much money to change a Security Logbook that very few people are going to read anyways, they might as well just tell employees to not pay attention to that information, rather than spending time to change or redact the information. Additionally - tearing the pages out would lead to people speculating what that meant, and the last thing the fandom needs is more questions. 3. What is happened with FNAF 4? As to why Michael wrote in the Logbook Nightmare Fredbear (notably recently, indicated by the point of the Logbook to be filled out daily), that is to imply that FNAF 4 is taking place around the same time as 1. With that being said, there's multiple interpretations of 4 to begin with, so I'll mainly focus on MikeDreamer and DuoDreamer for topic sake. MikeDreamer can be partially explained by saying Nights 1-4 have already occurred beforehand. But with the nature of the Phone Call easter egg, if you want to be harsh and say that's a confusing detail that it only truly exists past Night 5, then sure, that's fair enough. In the case of DuoDreamer - I interpret it as CC experiencing Nights 1 to 5 - and Michael much later down the line experiencing Nights 6 to 8. Whether the drawing is Nightmare or Nightmare Fredbear, Michael can still see him one way or the other. Yes, Michael doesn't draw the other Nightmares, but there's nothing stopping him from having them later down the line (for example, having Nightmares of Plushtrap during the events of FNAF 3) 4. When does Sister Location take place? (Ignoring Post 3 - as that's stupid, why would Michael trust William after burning him alive?) There's three major interpretations of Sister Location's timeline position - Before 2, Before 1, and After 1. As Michael is referencing Sister Location during the events of FNAF 1 - it's impossible for After 1 to be true, if believing the book is true. I know that's a tough pill for some, but assuming the book was intended to be true in regards - without picking out details for the sake of an idea - that's how it is. If you wish to ignore the book for the sake of that, then feel free to - but know that some may not do so. If you are accepting towards either Before 2 or 1, then either or technically works with the book without much contradiction. Yes, it's weird that the Toys and Funtimes are being referenced as late as 19XX, but nonetheless, there's so much weirdness in the lore, it starts to get difficult to decide anything, really. - Continuation I wish that Scott could be more direct in terms of information. There's having a story, but when there's so many layers, you have to accept that some pieces aren't going to be perfect. I personally believe that FNAF 4 was the turning point of the series getting convoluted, and with time, that has gotten more complicated with new ideas. Book Continuity, games based on books, games based on the idea that the videogames are games in-universe, retcons without explanation, so many things to consider when just trying to say one thing about a singular franchise. I don't blame you finding this so difficult, considering how much I need to explain just for the sake of summary, and frankly, it's going to only get harder with time.

Imply, whatever happened to the crying child. . Show Mike the protagonist of Fnaf 4 . Fnaf 3 apparently not taking place in in 2023 instead of 2015?

    Doesn’t Fnaf 2 take place before Fnaf 1?… so it would make sense that Fnaf 2 characters would show up in the book in both instances. And no one really know when SL takes place, I’ve seen several good arguments made for all sorts of placements in the timeline… plus if we’re going with the theory that Mike is the main protagonist in the first 6 games or so, and the fact the Fnaf 4 Nightmare segments don’t really have a timeline place ment, and the fact that anyone can have nightmares at anytime, and the fact that Mike could have drawn literally every single one of these pictures at anytime that he wanted to, and on any page he wanted to, he isn’t restricted to only filling this book out during Fnaf 1 or Fnaf 3… all in all, I think almost all of your points are naw issues unless they are directly addressed to have happened at a very specific time, with a timeline confirmed, and the exact dates that Mike not only got the book, but the dates he writes and draws in it too

    I don't think Wade is William. I don't think Wade COULD be William. If 10 years passed, the funtimes and Baby are gone, and the elevator isn't working, that means it's after Sister Location, and given that William didn't check back on the results of his experiment it's safe to say he was springlocked. Plus Wade mentions cell phones being able to track locations now, meaning it's most DEFINITELY after William dies.

    2:01 Scott Cawthon said that there weren’t any random Easter eggs. Unless if bite of ‘87 is revived then why would the toys be here if it’s in 1983? Firstly take a look at Mangle’s quest, it’s indoors just like the mangle toy in the sister’s bedroom, also the windows look exactly like the one in fun with plushtrap. 2:13 the toy chica is connected with the mangle point, the girl is also playing in the Aftons’ playground and she looks a lot like Elizabeth so the mangle is also hers. Scott also made sure to put extra emphasis on this detail with “why would the tiny toy chica be missing her beak”. Again unless bite of 87 was confirmed in Sister location or that dream theory was actually the totally correct answer there wouldn’t be any reason for him to say this. 3:15 Well actually in order to set up the happiest day in stage 01 we have to glitch into an empty room with a crying child. This is a reference to the night 4 cutscene where the crying child is stuck in the storage room

    I think the Pizzaplex is quite literally meant to be a coverup for the biggest mistakes of FE. After seeing Mikes bedroom, the FFPS map ( which seemingly is Fredbears and thus above CBEAR), and the weird dated age of certain more factory like sections (MurrayCo?) I think what's even crazier is apparently the afton house and murrayco are close enough that the pizzaplex is built on both. Wait...the footprints in MM...the dancing easter egg in HW, "he went to THAT PLACE again", CC's name being soft confirmed to be Dave.... You dont think...?

  • @LadyLuckyLu
    @LadyLuckyLu 16 днів тому

    100% agreed. Game Mike it's a tragic character and that's why he's so great. Unrelated to our boy Mike lol, but I disagree on this part 4:56. Personally, I think Baby in Sister Location is not fully possessed by Elizabeth, by this I mean she's not in control, Baby's AI is. Think of Circus Baby as a similar case to the Stitchwraith; Baby is in control and Lizzie is just a voice in Baby's head, unable to do anything. Baby even says "I can still hear her sometimes." Indicating that Elizabeth and Baby are two separate "people" I believe that's why William tells Mike to "Put her back together." By "putting together" he means "get rid of Baby's AI so Elizabeth can take over"; and Michael succeeds to do so. In Sister Location Baby wants to kill and use William to escape, but in Pizzeria Simulator Scrap Baby is on William's side and even wants to make him proud; Scrap Baby now IS controlled by Lizzie. Another thing is that the argument that happens at 5:03, is not (or at least I don't think it is) Lizzie vs MCI, but Lizzie vs the Funtimes' AIs. Yes, the funtimes have the MCI remnant in them, but they're not possessed by them if that makes sense. They're not "conscious". They're far gone. Their consciousness fused and scattered at the same time; they're so lost that they're no more than energy, just fueling the animatronics. After ejecting Lizzie from the group, Funtime Freddy's AI took control, creating Molten Freddy.
