Let me show you how to make the most delicious authentic Mexican recipes. We will have our cooking channel giving you the best and easy recipes to cook the best food possible. I am originally from Puebla, Mexico and now living in the United States. Puebla is known to have some of the best foods in the world, growing up there learning to cook with my mother, aunts, and grandma is something I cherish and will now share with all of you through my food.
Classic Mole Poblano con Arroz y Tortillas de mano - From Scratch
Today I will show you how to make Mole Poblano from scratch with fresh ingredients. Just like they make it in my home state of Puebla, where mole originates from.
Ingredients
1 Whole chicken

After I make the corn tortillas, I put them in a warmer like you have in the video, but if I leave them there too long, they tend to steam and get soggy. How long should I leave them in the warmer before I bagged them and put them in the refrigerator to keep them forgetting
I use a small table cloth or paper towels inside the tortilla warmer that absorbs all the steam , after I'm done I just leave it for like an hour and then put it in a Ziploc bag. This is what works for me hope it helps you.

In Spain we dont have pablano peppers in Spain the clossest would be Italian peppers so I will make mine with Italian peppers.

NEVER TAKE THE LID OFF & you only simmer the rice for 17 minutes, remove from the heat completley & let it sit for an additional 15 minutes. NEVER TAKE THE LID OFF, cz the steam escapes & you'll get MUSHY rice....
I'm new after being recommended by a friend and like what I'm seeing. I'm from Kentucky hills county of the USA and never seen green onion fried but will try some of the Mexican restaurants that are often our choice eating pleasure. And we do have a garden and our neighbors from South America claim my "Thourburg Terracotta" tomatoes are the best in her dishes so I raise a few extras. Thanks for the teachings
No clue how this got on my feed but I love mole. Pull the chicken before saucing and you have a perfect dish for me. I don't want to try finding bones hidden in the sauce. But that's just me being a bit lazy maybe. So much work goes into making dishes like this one already.
I agree, Mole is great! Removing the bones is a huge no in this dish. You can remove the bones if there's leftovers though. You can use that for the next day Mole enchiladas.

Can I use a tortilla press for flour tortillas? Or just corn?
I think there's a flour tortilla press , I already tried using mine and the dough shrunk 😂 .
Mixing in a little AP flour is a neat trick to add strength and softness. I started bread baking last year, and recently started getting into corn tortilla making because it’s a LOT easier than working with pure flour tortillas, but I may have to try this.

¿Usaste toda el agua? ¿La masa parece dura? Hice una prensa con maderas desechadas y mi decepción es que si le pongo mucha fuerza a la palanca, el diámetro de las tortillas no aumenta, ¡se vuelven gruesas y pequeñas! ¡De Brasil!😭😭😭😭🥺
No use toda el agua, y si se ve en el vídeo dura pero está suave tiene que estar así para que pueda ser manejable si no se te rompen.cuando amasas la harina tienes que ir añadiendo el agua conforme la masa te lo pida hasta que no se te pegue en las Manos .
