idk how i came across this but wow i’m happy i did…. alice i remember working with you way back in what 2012-2014? at my brothers ice cream shop… i remember you saying you were gonna go to school to fly planes… i believe i busted you’re balls saying i wont being taking that flight🤣 fast forward 10 years and i found this. you probably wont ever see this, but if you ever do i just wanted to say im super proud of who you become. i tired searching ya on some social medias and can’t find ya. but anyway im glad i found this of you. i’ll never forget some of the memories we have. seeing this made me smile and reminisce of the past. again very proud of you most young teenage kids say there gonna go to school for this and that and never stick too it. it’s cool seeing you’re story and at 15-16 you telling me this is what you wanted to do and you did it and obv very successful at it too. god bless you and who knows maybe our paths will cross again. you look exactly the same as you did when i first met you minus the braces. if you by chance ever see this comment on here id love to hear from you just too see how you’re doing and too catch up. be safe up there doing what you love ❤

I would like to recognize a piedmont flight attendent. This flight attendent is named Karen and she was very very nice. We were on the e145 and she even let me go to the flight deck and let me meet the co pilot and I was very thirsty and she gave me a bottle of water, I miss her

Is the cadet program still active my son is 21 and is finishing up his IFR this month expecting to obtain his Commercial and Multi by end of this year

Probably one of THE easiest airports to go thru. Only issue is getting thru TSA if two larger planes have a close gate time.

People seem to forget about all of the white men fighting the civil war to end slavery, to end segregation, and every step of the way for women’s liberation. That doesn’t count though i guess. And “microaggressions?” Come on. People are just gonna people. Things change and they get used to it. Toughen up.

Good riddance. As a passenger I avoided US Airways whenever possible because the Dash8 was such a miserable experience, and you couldn't fly US anywhere on the East Coast without most or all of your trip being on this wretched airplane. The E145 was a big improvement in the passenger experience.

With all due respect but you are thieves. The real Piedmont Airlines flew into the sunset in August, 1989. It is an insult and a travesty to the people who built The real Piedmont Airlines(1948-1989). Shame on your bosses and AA for trampling over that name and defiling the memory of the many fine people who built that fine company.

Why do regional carriers always have ugly flight attendants, either fat, overweight or elderly, I mean are they rejects that they can’t get a real FA job on real airline and fly on real airplanes ? It seems that way, for example whats up with this fat lady with a mole on her face talking about losing weight and laying her big body on row nine because she’s too lazy to walk in the airport. Tip lady, you will lose a lot of weight if you walk! I mean, she should be ashamed of herself. She had a lot of nerve to be on camera to talk about her weight ….Meanwhile the other FA with racon eyes and zits ….thats so low class ..can’t you carriers hire pretty and handsome people?

Why would I want to work for an airline that’s represented by a Captain dressed like Chris? Shameful for the profession and conduct unbecoming. It not that difficult to wear the uniform with pride.

I recently retired from the airline business as an A&P. Started in the military then defense contract, commuter regional, air freight, then major airline. Many of these people are making comparisons to automobile maintenance. One thing they made clear in the military is this isn't like a car, you just can't stop thousands of feet in the air & pull over to the side of the sky. FLY NAVY!!!

I would like to know more of the details about the company's early history. I've read that Mr. Henson was a test pilot with Fairchild before he founded the FBO that would become this airline, and that Fairchild had an assembly line in Hagerstown where they built the Fokker F27 under license, an aircraft type that was operated by Suburban (renamed Allegheny similarly to how Henson was given the Piedmont name), an airline that would be merged into Piedmont in 2004. But again, Henson never directly acquired these aircraft. Why is that? It would make sense on paper for an airline to acquire aircraft from a manufacturer that has a production line on the same airport the airline is headquartered at. Were the Fokkers just too expensive for Henson at the time? What of the move to Salisbury, what prompted that? Did Henson make the choice to move to Salisbury or was it at the behest of Allegheny? What was the reason for the move?
