Marry You cover - Axelle and Bridie :)
So inspiring! ❤
This looks great fun.
To point out, Bridie was a machine before, during AND after pregnancy!
Oooh looks like something I would love to do! Thanks so much for sharing ❤
I’d really recommend it ! ☺️ www.greatlakeland3day.com/
Such a beautiful scenery my friend, foggy weather fits so nicely here! Love it 👌👌
Thanks Ervin! ☺️
Love your dog !
Thanks!
Good effort, especially in the rain... I climbed Snowden in June, Scafell Pike in Aughast and am planning to do Ben Nevis in October. I cannot imaging doing all 3 in 24 hours, again good effort.
Thank you !
Great video. I'm thinking of giving this one a go next month. :)
Thanks John! Did you do it in the end? How did you get on?
Two mountains in the dark? Just not needed if you get the start time up Ben Nevis right. Start late afternoon (in high summer), the fittest can leave it until 1800 and be down before nightfall. You then start up Scawfell in the early dawn and it is starting to get light before you are on the mountain proper. This gives you Snowden in the afternoon.
Interesting point ! I did love scarfell at sunset though 🌅 and theoretically Yr Wyfdda would have been nice for a sunrise 🌄
How did you even manage 10mins?!
Haha fear of looking like a wimp in front of the other ladies 😂
You just not feeling like a run, but force yourself to do it is so relatable! I have so big goals this year and I need that attitude. Congrats on the great week of running!
Thank you ! Good luck with your goals I’m sure you’ll smash them 💪
I don’t have a peak week because I make it up as I go, maybe I should though!
Haha I could never ! But if it works for you that’s great! 😊
My peak week milage is similar - around 70km. Any more and my legs get tired ! 💤
That’s great to know that it’s about the same ! 😊
Great video, you’ll have to ask Gav what number he is on. Well done with strength training too 😀
Thank you ! I think he’s well over a year I reckon like 500 days 😮
Great video! Love the IOW
Amazing video, I've found it quite difficult to find an informative video of the beacons way on UA-cam. So thank you 👌
Pleasure ! Hope you have a lovely time on the route it’s lovely ☺️
@bridierowlie thank you I can't wait 😁
I'm on a 42 day streak of running at least 5k a day, but sadly I'm in bed unwell today, so it looks like the streak is ending.
Oh no sorry to hear you’re not well and your streak is ending ! I suppose it’s an inevitability for us all. Good luck with your next one ☺️
Good news, I managed to muster a very tentative 1 mile run to keep one type of streak going. Thanks for the inspiring video.
I have been running consistently for the past month, every morning for between 30 to 60 minutes, but not every day. I alternate between a long run day, a short run day, and a rest day to give my body adequate rest. Only a fellow runner can understand what it takes to overcome the limbic friction-the urge to stay in bed and not go for a run-and to get out of the house. It's always difficult to get started. But once you do, there is no finish line, no destination. The act of running itself becomes the destination. I have developed great respect for people who, day after day, work very hard to outwork their own potential. That is what greatness is. You don't have to be famous, you don't have to have millions of subscribers or viewers, but you can still be great by just putting in the hours and the effort. Here's to your 1,00-day streak! Cheers!
Sounds like you have a great routine going ! You’re so right about it becoming the destination 💯
The last 3 years I run the year. This year 2024km. Have 1800 km to go . Congrats on your running journey!
Wow that’s amazing, you’ve done so much already!! That’s a great idea to run the year !
Im hoping to do any kind of exercise for 100 days in a row. Thanks for the inspiration!
Good luck with your challenge!! It will be soo worth it ! 💪
A friend of mine ran a marathon every single day for one year, 365 marathons. not all of them were official though, and I think she also walked some of them. She also sometimes ran half in the morning and half in the evening instead of doing it in one go. That's some crazy amount of run, in any case!
Wow that’s amazing !! Did she work full time ? I can’t imagine having the energy to do that every day, that’s seriously impressive !
@@bridierowlie I am not sure if it was full time, but she did work, and also sometimes went to her other hobbies like wrestling in the evening after her run. Which is also impressive.
That’s seriously inspirational!
Love this! Looks like your local route is really lovely. I've got some nice nature nearby too so I've got get out too.
Thank you! It is really nice but it got a bit samey for 26km ! Having nice routes nearby is so important, enjoy your runs ☺️
I loved these tips! Really thoughtful and easily implementable. My number one tip I tell myself when I don't really feeling like moving my body is I remind myself that you never regret a run/workout -- you'll always feel better for it after!
Thanks Bobs 😊 That’s a great tip and it’s always so true !
Good advice. Really going to force myself to run this year, even in the not so nice weather. I think you are correct in that the struggle runs have great benefits. Have fun training!
Thanks Danny! Best of luck with your training !
Lovely place to do your running. Best wishes with your running plans for the year. Just subscribed. Good luck to your channel. Poisonous hill!
Thanks so much! Haha the hill was awful but such a lovely place to run 😍
it looks super pretty!!
It was beautiful, you’d love it !
Well done, myself and two mates did the challenge on the 2nd September , few weeks back. Only two of us completed the full challenge and we did the driving ourselves. Me and Andy came in at 23 hours 26 mins. We had issues with traffic severely between Nevis and Scafell too adding on another 45 minutes. 1 mile into Scafell I wanted to give up from exhaustion because it was still 22 degrees at 6:30pm. Took my head for a wobble and motored on. I’ve never been so happy to see a car park in my life when we came round that final corner on the miners path. Well done to you all, great achievement. Not many are able to do the three in succession never mind doing them under 24 hours.
Well done Martyn!! That’s incredible, I can’t imagine doing the driving between too you must have been exhausted !
@@bridierowlie the driving whilst tired between Scafell and Snowdon was just about manageable however upon completion of the challenge we were literally driving for 15-20 minutes each then changing drivers for the 2 hour journey back to Manchester. I nearly fell asleep a few times at the wheel on the a55 but luckily lane assist on my car helped more than you could imagine. Great experience though!😎
Blaady love this! Such an achievement guys!! Absolutely smashed it! 🎉
Thanks Kaylie!! 🥰
Lovely video Bridie! Big up Peter Wilson
Whaou! :o C'est vraiment super! :)
My god... *^* I love it !
