DSV is not a Dutch company it is a Danish one

FedEx just dropped mine off today. Theorema Casablanca...it's orange. It's a really nice watch in my opinion. It works well. They had it advertised at $2400.00CAD.... then on sale for $399.00CAD. I bought it on sale. I'm not a watch guy.. I just thought it was nice. So I waited for an after Xmas sale and bought it. I would never pay $2400.00 for it though. I am, however a millwright by trade. If the Swiss, Japanese, and Chinese all use the same basic gearbox design(movement), and it functions...what's the difference, other than Tufina not being upfront about it?

There’s nothing wrong with a quirky Chinese or microbrand watch. As long as you like it and it speaks to you. I just don’t like these watch company’s saying you’re getting a high end watch when it’s only Sapphire coated, with 3 ATM water resistance.

I am a bit late to the party commenting on this video. I have to say, you played it very fairly, I think the watch company have been deceptively marketing to make claims to enhance the prestige of this product. If they were truthful, or not even truthful but not making up stories they may still sell this product and not gain a stigma of a cheating company. There is a Chinese company that makes similar watches that claims Swiss heritage but at least is honest with what movement they use and to be honest their watches are quite decent. The kicker here is they are a third of the price of this watch even after the discount. So if you do buy one of their watches at least it does represent a value item. Tufina are just scammers. As would anyone be called for misleading a customer for paying for something they are not getting. I love your take on it and lessons both good and bad can be learned here.😊

Are there any "woke-free" companies hiring, that don't demand 7 years or more of experience??

It looks like any Alibaba $50 watch. I was checking their website earlier, some watches are over $1k, and in my opinion and experience they don't worth a penny. I'm pretty sure the reviews on trust pilot are from people who know nothing about watches and only interested in the look of the watch.

Love you guys for this honest review . I am crazy about watches but thanks I didn’t buy it due to same concerns about this watch brand . If you made something by yourself just own it instead of using fake market tactics . I received multiple emails with different offers from them but I didn’t accept them.

Having collected watches for over 20 years and it's fine. It's likely a Seagull movement and they make affordable Tourbillon movements at amazing prices. I would prefer a Seagull Tourbillon watch myself then this brand. Generally, most collectors since the 1980's like in-house movements thus a Seagull watch with a Seagull movement would be the most collectible. FYI Rolex used to not use their own movements on some of their watches. Anyone trashing a watch movement simply based on which country it is from is likely a watch snob. Unfortunately, there are A LOT of these types of people.

Great car, but price tag is a kick in the guts for a car that’s 90% finished

My wife bought me one. The website says assembled in Germany which is a good bit different than made in Germany. I live on a disability salary due to an injury in the military so that limited the price point she was buying in. For a lower end watch and a novice watch guy it is great. I’ll cherish it because she bought it for me but I’d say it’s made in China and is fine at the price after the discount. It’s the nicest watch I own.

If I was thinking about buying this and then saw this video, I would no longer be thinking about buying it

I like most of your videos but this one I don’t fully agree with I’ve been through a DSV merger before no doubt there is chaos and it’s tough The things working in their favour is , it’s a demand slack market much easier now to execute a merger then a Covid environment where capacity is an issue Global market share will only be around 6-8 percent of the combined entity both are sausage factory operations Time will tell how interesting the merger becomes

Ok did some research...... Tufina: Hello again, movement is in-house made in partnership with Elysee watches and Asian parts. Under the German law you cannot put Made in Germany if at least 75% of the item is not made in the country of EU origin. You can go to the governmental site of Germany and look Theorema or Pionier. Thanks! So watch made in Germany with an Asian MOVEMENT
