What does "Mass" Mean? The term "Mass" is derived from the concluding words of the Roman Rite Mass in Latin: Ite, missa est ('Go, it is the dismissal', officially translated as 'Go forth, the Mass is ended'). The Late Latin word missa substantively corresponds to the classical Latin word missio. In antiquity, missa simply meant "dismissal". Yet catholics stand around lisitening to whomever. definitely NOT going anywhere!!! So, when you go to "Mass" are you going, or being dismissed???

Saludos. Dios te bendiga 🙏🏼 e ilumine.

quote---We believe the Catechism is not a textbook, a collection of ideas, or a set of rules. We believe it is the faithful echo of a God who desires to reveal himself to us... unquote THEN WHY DO 90% of the catechism NOT have bible quotes for them????? i.e. Where in the Bible does Christ teach Sunday a Holy Day??? Where in the Bible does Christ teach Mary is a mediator/intercessor? (book, chapter and verse) Where in the Bible did Christ change the Sabbath to Sunday??? (book, chapter and verse) Where in the Bible did Christ teach that Mary has gone/ will go to heaven? (book, chapter and verse) Where in the Bibler did Christ teach that a mere man is head of His church??? (book, chapter and verse) Where in the Bible is the title "pope" mentioned??? (book, chapter and verse) Where in the Bible did Christ teach that those that die go right to heaven?? (book, chapter and verse) --Where in the Bible did Christ teach that mere men have to authority to change what God wrote??? (book, chapter and verse) ----What did the apostles use to decide who would replace Judas?? ACTS 1:21-23. HAD to have seen Jesus be baptised!! MUST have walked /talked to Jesus during His ministry. MUST have seen Jesus after His resurrection!!! NO ONE after John meets those qualifications!!!! >>> --Pope St. Linus--- Born Born: 10 AD, Volterra, Italy So, when did he travel to Jerusalem just to see Jeus be baptised??? At age 23. >>>Pope Anacletus---- c. AD 25 Rome, Roman Empire----- So, when did he travel to Jerusalem just to see Jesus be baptised?? At age 4!!!! >>>> Clement----born c. 35 AD Rome, Roman Empire So, when did he travel to Jerusalem just to see Jesus be baptised?? Before he was born???? According to Tertullian, writing c. 199, the Roman Church claimed that Clement was ordained by St. Peter (De Praescript., xxxii) NOT ONE VERSE in ALL scripture that says that!!!! Philippians 4:3 A tradition that began in the 3rd and 4th century, has identified him as the Clement that Paul mentioned in Philippians 4:3, a fellow laborer in Christ. TRADITION!!! as a FELLOW LABORER!!!! Phil 4:[3] Yes, I beg you also, true yoke-fellow, help these women, for they labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life. >>>>>> #6--Quote the Holy Bible that says Mary prayed to/with beads. (book, chapter and verse) #7--Quote the Holy Bible that says Mary went to/ will go to heaven. (book, chapter and verse) #8--Quote the Holy Bible that says Mary is an mediator/intercessor. (book, chapter and verse) #9--Quote the Holy Bible that says Mary remained a virgin all her life. (book, chapter and verse) #10--Quote the Holy Bible that says Mary did not sin. (book, chapter and verse) #11--Quote the Holy Bible that says a mere man is Head of the church. (book, chapter and verse) #12--Quote the Holy Bible that says there are popes in God's kingdom. (book, chapter and verse) #13--Quote the Holy Bible that says we are to confess our sins to a priest. (book, chapter and verse) #14--Quote the Holy Bible that says there is an "one holy Apolistic church? (book, chapter and verse) #15--Quote the Holy Bible that says the seventh day is not the Sabbath. (book, chapter and verse) #16--Quote the Holy Bible that says Rome is where Jesus will have His headquarters. (book, chapter and verse) #17--Quote the Holy Bible that says Peter was in Rome. (book, chapter and verse) #18--Quote the Holy Bible that says Mary is the Ark of the covenant. (book, chapter and verse) >>>FACT: I have asked OVER 100 supposed experts on Catholicism to reply to those questions. All I have received are out of context quotes, told to watch this or that video, or no reply at all!!! Will you answer them???? At least the first 5 basic questions FROM THE BIBLE. BOOK, Chapter and VERSES!!!!! >>>> The Catechism of the Council of Trent, p 402 second revised edition says, "The Church of God has thought it well to transfer the celebration and observance of the Sabbath to Sunday!" And “Had she not such power, she could not have done that in which all modern religionists agree with her-she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday, the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday, the seventh day, a change for which there is NO SCRIPTURAL AUTHORITY” - Stephen Keenan A Doctrinal Catechism p 174 ----WHERE IN THE BIBLE Does it say God changes????????? Book, chapter and verse >>>> CCC #2679 Mary is the perfect Orans (pray-er), a figure of the Church. When we pray to her, we are adhering with her to the plan of the Father, who sends his Son to save all men. Like the beloved disciple we welcome Jesus' mother into our homes, for she has become the mother of all the living. We can pray with and to her. The prayer of the Church is sustained by the prayer of Mary and united with it in hope. Yet, Catholics insist they do not pray to Mary!!! WHERE in the Bible does GOD say to pray to the dead?? Book, chapter and verse!!!! WHERE in the bbile does it say Mary is in heaven?? Book, chapter and verse --MARY MUST be in the verse. That catechism says Mary is Jesus' mother. Yet, Catholics insist she is the Mother of God!!! >>>>> Some Catholics insist they do NOT worship Mary. Yet: Mary is worshipped: “…when she [Mary] is the subject of preaching and worship she prompts the faithful to come to her Son…” (Vatican Council II, p. 420)

I found this article to be helpful! It says, "The most-quoted source is Scripture. In fact, 40 out of 46 books of the Old Testament are cited and all 27 books of the New Testament are quoted. It is wonderful to discover the biblical underpinnings of Catholic doctrines." www.catechist.com/the-catechism-at-25/#:~:text=Each%20paragraph%20of%20the%20Catechism,the%20New%20Testament%20are%20quoted.

@@realplustrue Exodus 20:3-6 New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition 3 you shall have no other gods before[a] me. 4 You shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing children for the iniquity of parents, to the third and the fourth generation of those who reject me, 6 but showing steadfast love to the thousandth generation[b] of those who love me and keep my commandments. Yet, catholics have images, statues of Mary, etc. >>> Exodus 20:8-11 New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition 8 Remember the sabbath day, and keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work. 10 But the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God; you shall not do any work-you, your son or your daughter, your male or female slave, your livestock, or the alien resident in your towns. 11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but rested the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and consecrated it. Yet, Catholics refuse to obey it!!!! >>>>>quote--- It is wonderful to discover the biblical underpinnings of Catholic doctrines... unquote LOL-ROFL Doctrines should be bible based. NOT on made made traditions. >>>> Psalms 115:17 in Other Translations 17 The dead do not praise the LORD, nor do any who go down into silence. 17 The dead cannot sing praises to the LORD, for they have gone into the silence of the grave. 17 Dead people can't praise God - not a word to be heard from those buried in the ground. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 1 Corinthians 7:19. He says, “Neither circumcision counts for anything nor uncircumcision, but keeping the commandments of God.” > A Catholic keep them?? LOL!!!! >>>>Catholics as Truth: If this was in case true, then those who have the pure knowledge of the words of God would have been Catholics. However, the Ten Commandments, the foundation of the government of God, is trampled upon by the change that the Papacy made against it. Changing the sabbath of the fourth commandment from the seventh day of the week to the first day of the week, and erasing the commandment that prohibits the worship of images in order to cater to the veneration of images. These alone, aside from all the manmade traditions that make up the catholic doctrine, is already a great evidence against your claim that the church is the guardian of all truths. For we behold that it is the breaker of all the truth. >>> Christ established a church that follows the commandments of God. He speaks ever so plainly "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed." The argument of the magisterium and the apostolicity is something that hangs upon the condition of being a people who continues in the words of God. The Ten Commandments are the foundation of the words of God presented in the bible. However, the Roman Catholic church has both erased from the Ten Commandments the second commandment, to cater to the veneration of images, which is idolatry and the deliberate change of the Sabbath of the Lord from Saturday to Sunday, gives us the greatest evidence that this is a church that does not follow the apostolic succession. For succession is not based upon the lineage and the continuity of people from all the ages. Rather, it is on the continuance in the keeping of the laws of God. To those points, there is no argument.
