Stone jars also known as Longthainiara or Lungzubel are reported from 10 sites in the southern part of Dima Hasao district in Assam. These jars are similar in shape to those found in Laos DPR. Some scholars have claimed it to be an ancestral bone repository created by the group of austro-Asiatic speakers in the circa first century CE. Although this is a presupposition and further scientific inv...

As a indigenous assamese i want to say that Save your land from bengali/bihari/muslim.😌Never allow them to marry a local girl😔.Cachar has already captured by bengali people. Plains of assam has already filled with these people😌. We indigenous people already in minority some district of assam.🤔After 20 to 30 years indigenous assamese/ indigenous plain tribe like boro, missing tribe will be minority in assam😌. After that they will easily destroy hill tribe dimasa, karbi etc because of their less population😒. If these bengali/bihari/bengali muslim occupy assam administration system they will make all law in their favour.😔 In democracy destiny of indigenous people can only be protect by their demography😔

To begin, I would like to express my gratitude for your interest in the video. In response to your question, the Karbi people are a native community in the District. On the other hand, if we consider the Bodo people as a separate community rather than a cluster group, their settlement in the District is relatively recent Khublei 🙏

Was in Halflong, 1971, studied at St. Agnes and later on at the Govt. Boys. Cherish many moments and memories of my Halflong. Two years back I went to visit my Halflong, which wasn't there any more. I was very disappointed to see the new Halflong, the peaceful bazaar was gone, the Assamese L. P. school in front of the bazaar was completely demolished, the lake overcrowded by houses, so many people everywhere it was very difficult to find my old Halflong, my lovely peaceful princess of the hills. Even St. Agnes school changed a lot with a few of the old structures remaining there are new buildings made inside. Whatever it may be my love and longing for my Halflong will always be there till my last day. Thank you for racking up my memories of our sweet princess of the hills.

I consistently aim to raise awareness about the aesthetic value of ancient times. Therefore, I am making a modest effort through this channel the necessity to safeguard and preserve historical structures and relics. I acknowledge that progress comes at a significant cost, but it is feasible to strike a balance between preserving the past and embracing modernity, as exemplified by Kolkata city. Any way thank you Sir for taking the time to watch my vlog. Your comment prompted me to delve in to the past, and I appreciate the opportunity to engage in this discussion 🙏

@@SuperShring thank you, appreciate your efforts to bring out the best from Halflong. There are so many interesting places around Halflong very few people know, even the now abandoned railway tunnels is a place to visit and rediscover. I miss Halflong so much that I couldn't explain, I am almost 64 now and crippled with nerve pain or I would have visited my little princess of the hills again.
