This is a difficult time in our home. The world was a crazy place. Everyone had a different experience. So many were near death, especially those who had conditions such as asthma etc. I pray for continued healing. God bless you. 🌹

My husband experienced COVID about 2 years ago. He was hospitalized for two weeks. I felt so bad because I knew that I had to be the one who brought it to him, being that he didn't leave the house and I had a boarding home where people came in and out every single day, but I was grateful that he was able to talk to me every single night. But one thing he was terrified of was that everyone was dying around him. He felt so bad for all the families, and he felt alone, but I pleaded the blood of Jesus over him day in and day out, and he made it home.

Halloween is a definite no! However, I think it is a good thing that churches provide a safe alternative for the community.

Great conversation and I am in total agreement. The occultic origins of this holiday alone should be a pause for the Spirit-led believer. And its one of many portals for the enemy to gain a foothold into the hearts of many. Better to nor even flirt with it and reject it altogether.

Great conversation! Conflict management skills are so crucial to have in any human endeavor, and how we speak and engage with others is a key factor to that. Paul says let our speech be gracious, seasoned with salt so that we may know how to answer every person. Salt is a preservative, and if we speak with the intention of preserving a relationship or the intergrity of the topic or the other person's dignity, we would speak graciously and actually have great conversations and debates. Unfortunately, a lot of people on social media are just more interested in saying their peice and they don't care if they tear the other person down and so we go in circles around each other. God give us grace! 🙏

Halloween is a stew of paganism that Christians should stay far from. What bothers me is when people say “Happy Halloween”. It’s a “celebration” filled with a lack of knowledge. Awesome podcast!
