Without the turbo youll be running very rich which can wash the cylinder walls and dilute the oil. If it were me, get more frequent oil changes and if its expensive, just go for a cheaper oil but do it frequently.

As an Ukrainian soldier, I'm grateful for what you're doing. This vehicle will be put to good use. What is concerning, is the metal shavings in the fuel filter. It might indicate that high pressure fuel pump is worn out, and will stall the vehicle pretty soon.

@@OlliePenny Now I'm in the UK, since late last year, previously Latvia. When I got my E36 in 2021, it was the beggining of the prices going up for the basic cars that were left, since any six with any equipment was long gone.
