What’s your thoughts on this bike? I’m looking at getting on the cycle to work scheme (not to actually cycle to work), but to get out and about to some trails and a few jumps. I’m just a bit concerned on the jumps part as I’m not sure if it would handle it.

I’ve got the same bike. Have you noticed a bit of play on the front wheel while holding the brake on ?

I spent a wee fortune on saddles im 260lbs thought I'd need a 170mm saddle ended up one the 155mm was absolutely perfect! The very last one i took a chance on for £30 memory foam MTB version or the VELMIA its a really nice comfortable saddle for the cubes geometry! Just a wee starting point if your looking for a saddle try this one fisrt looks nice aswell! I've got all top brands non worked for comfort but this is so nice on the behind!😂

First thing i done was changed that saddle! Was like riding a smart phone haha! I love mine aswell can't tell you how much its just amazing! Cube are so underrated in the emtb community i think its more that its such good value for such a high spec machine people don't like it or something after paying near double for something pretty much the same! Its basically a Trek rail! My mate has a rail and he wants to swap for my cube haha! The cube is more bike however! Enjoy it mate hope to see more video's!

Emtb mode is actually better than the Auto mode it has some more extras look into it on video's auto works from eco all way up to turbo whare as emtb works from tour to turbo but gives you over run when climbing and other cool features like that ,but yeah search the different modes on here some good video's

The 160 isn't longer its got longer travel suspension and 27.5in wheels very responsive and playful to the 29ers! Its still a big bike im 5.9ft on a large and takes me to get on and off it with 27.5s 1/3 or an ince on 29ers really isn't much of a difference people always say its faster etc but it can't be but love the greyy blue on black colourway aswell! I replaced my carbon bars with alloy one's i don't trust carbon bars haha take care!

Takes a while to get used to from older bike's! My first ride last week was so strange but it was so nice to ride on the action team I got! I love the stereo hybrids! I used the new Auto mode and turbo on my first time out they have just added more stuff to this new update today! AI range extender in the gps apps, i had to shorten my stem to 41mm with a burgtec 38 ride high bar i felt i was to far over the front, i heard alot people say its light in the front going uphill but mine was just perfect with my new rise and stem!

I just got the 160 Action team and got the kiox 500 and purion 200 there the new update for the smart system was released today 1.22.7 with the purion 200 displays from the app! One thing id like to ask is did you get the purion 200 linked up through bosch dealership or just fit it yourself?

Great review of the Cube Stereo 140. This is very high on my list as I’m looking to convert to an EMTB. Would like to hear how you get on over the next few weeks and put it through more of its paces.

A very interesting Video, thank you. I have also just bought an eBike, in my case a Specialized Turbo Tero 4, which looks very similar to the Centros. I got a good deal over RRP and used Bike2Work to finance it. It’s an odd experience. I am a long-time cyclist with 2 Road and one MTB. The MTB was basically my shopping/ small journey bike. The two Road bikes are for my hobby and longer 20 mile plus rides where full kit is donned and I join the Mamil brigade. If I am honest, I was unsure about the eMTB on the first few rides, it was heavy and a little intimidating. However, like you I found myself making excuses to go to the shops etc. 5 trips to Sainsburys in one day is excessive, I think? For me it is the perfect transport for 10 mile rides, which includes my commute on river paths. No need to don expensive kit and no profuse sweating upon arrival at work. I see it as a different mode of transport. My road bikes are a hobby and used for fast riding to far flung local cafes on a Sunday morning with full kit and an expected cardio workout result with Strava post ride analysis. The eBike feels more like a car or motorbike. The event is the journey and arriving at the destination not the riding exercise in itself. I am planning a 40mile ride on a cycleway to Brighton where I suspect it will be perfect. On arrival I’ll have Fish and Chips and a beer or two before getting the train home. I am a larger fellow so think the 86 mile range may be 50 in real use, but that’s fine. As I age, I may get an eRoad bike to help me up hills only. Don’t want or need the assistance on the flat for that bike and 16mph is too slow anyway on the road. The technology will no doubt change with better and lighter batteries. Looking forward to more of your ebike experience.
