This game is hard. Except it's more unfair than hard. I played the SNES version because I'd rather not have to deal with screen crunch. Also I hate Dynamo Man's fight. At least with Burner Man I could learn it and get better at fighting him, but Dynamo Man can refill his health anytime he wants as long as it's low. Also you should see Bass' dialogue in the wily fight in the English translation ...

Nice intro cutscene that almost everyone has no idea exists. Also when I replayed this game I forgot the wily iron golem was a thing.

I don't know how Capcom heard the pitch of the music and thought it was good. Also Crash Man's name is his Japanese one for some reason. I also don't know why there is a white line at the right side of the screen.

Man I just beat mega man 8 for the first time the other day and I still can’t believe how great it was. The grenade man stage has some of the best video game music of all time in my opinion. This NES version has been exceptionally well done.
And Grenade Man's stage is located somewhere between Chile, Bolivia and Argentina
The good thing is I have yt premium😭 BUT THE ADS ON DIFFERENT APPS.. THE MOST CRINGE ADD I SAW IS TALKIE.

24:37 just how lazy the power suit upgrade pops up there. This remake feels so unfinished.
It pops up because he used thunder strike to power the lights. It makes a lot more sense than having rush just did there for no reason IMO
Weird like the other 8bit remake. I hate how the Rush Search is totally gone. Lazy programming. I think it could have been made to work. Rush Search brought such a unique touch to the original game, almost like making it into an adventure where you had to discover secrets ands make Rush dig them up for you. And many stage exclusive gimmicks are gone as well.
I never understood this. This 8bit remake had to ditch so many great things from the original game. And the way Mega Man 8 plays and all I think the transition to 8bit style comes at the cost of a consitent gameplay feel. Many areas feel off and the jump distances, gaps are different due to this transition.

i feel sad the way Bass leaves after his defeat, he doesn't fly away with a malfunction and with his arm electrocuted and injured on the ground, here he just.........goes away like nothing happens
Ngl all the things they ditched I think were for the better. 7/8 FC were made for a very specific type of Mega Man fan who didn’t like the additions 7/8 added. If you don’t like it you’ll always have the original.
@@raincloud5449 i know, but it would be cool to see the details that weren't possible because of the NES, Even if it is supposed to be limited, not every demake needs to be automatically limited, it can even have an arranged or new mode

There should be an application called config_GUI in the folder. Open it and in the second row, there are multiple screen resolutions you can choose from.

I should Remake Megaman V, obiously In the nes style but megaman's sprite being based on the battle & fighters design, therefore the stardroids will get Smoother Animations to that of megaman.

I don't understand the hate to be honest. It's a good entry to the classic series with 32-bit graphics with IMO one of the best OSTs in the series.

I know that there’s a sprite hack for Rockman 7 FC that makes it to where you can play as Roll. I’ve never heard of one for 8 though.
