The thing missing from this adaptation is Lawrence's internal thoughts. Without his insight, you likely wouldn't realize that Zheren probably knocked out his own tooth to seem more approachable.

Regarding the source material. The Web Novel recently finished and while there's 14 Light Novels out in English so far, that isn't even half-way through the story. The Manga is currently adapting the 4th Novel and this first season of the anime only covers up to half-way through the second novel.

Amanda might have a high Strength score, but her Agility is even higher.

I definitely think they did it justice. Season 14 had gone hard woke and emasculated Archer. I'm glad they redeemed themselves and gave fans some real love and fan service.

Just wondering, it looks like you are showing maybe 3-5 minutes of actual footage. Is there any particular reason for that? Sticking to 3-5 minutes footage format, is not appealing to watch, at least not for me. The race has a LOT of good moments and skipping those I personally am going to bow out. I like the in depth discussion after the episode. Hope you can find a middle ground where you can avoid ToS and show maybe up to 10 minutes for footage (censored if necessary).

(And also: which time of the year this is supposed to be? This series seems to be rather ambiguous about this.)

6:27 -- Regarding the dodgeball -- it's not that Anya was not able to throw the ball, it's that at that moment she was not good at _directing_ her throw. _(She threw the ball rather strongly, but towards the floor!)_ In this case, A) all that Anya had to know was that she had to throw it _upwards,_ and B) unlike a ball, this object has a handle.

Talking about pacts, this is not the first time it was brought up. The first pact shoudl be the one with sukana and itadori. The pact where sukuna would bring itadori back but in exchange when sukuna says 'enchain' or something like that, itadori gives him his body for 1 minute. Another pact is nanami's overtime pact, the one that makes him a bit weaker during 'working hours' and stronger after 'working hours'.

As far as I remember, the Sword Oratoria anime did not have a good reception (it was a little below average), but I’m speaking from memory… I just searched for data and found... nothing...😅, the only thing I found was people asking for the Sword Oratoria manga to be animated, which has had a good reception from the public… In the case of a second season of SO is adapted, if it ends up being 12 episodes, I would leave it at the equivalent of Danmachi’s 3rd season. There are people who want to see what comes after that in a movie… but personally, it fits better for me in about 12 episodes... But... I would prefer an adaptation of Astrea Records (it’s only 3 volumes and it’s finished) that would fit quite well after the 4th season, because we got to know the Astrea Family in this season😅

These are the reactions I prefer I love the discussions at the end and or the reactions where they pause to talk because they don’t want to miss anything. I don’t like reactions where they talk throughout the show or fake their reactions. I like honesty as well and if you don’t like something don’t fake liking it.

It was also mentioned that welf crozzo leange blood is mixed with spirits. His ancestor was saved by one. The spirit infused his life force with him in order to save him. That is why the Crozzo family is well known for making powerful magic swords.

Gotta add a cut content of what should have appeared in S2. Welf pretty much confessed his romantic feelings to Hephaestus. He told her that he'll feel worthy to ask for her hand (marriage) once he creates a weapon that could surpass Hephaestus' work. This qualifies, so this is also a major move on his development.

The Baji and Chifuyu scene was another anime extra. S3 has been announced as of this week, for sometime in October, so that's nice. The next arc is a fan favourite, lots of stuff happens...

The VA for Taiju in Japanese has a really deep voice so it's weird to hear that tenor version for English. Go back to his intro episode and listen to him address Hakkai for the first time in Japanese. It's such a difference for his type of character, and also that Yuzuha line sounds really smarmy in English, like you just know by hearing him say it that he'll keep on doing what he's doing. The animation team stripped him of several tattoos. It simplified their work, but the tattoos displayed his beliefs in a cool way so when you finish the arc, check out chapter 96 for some close ups.

Hina jumping between Takemichi and Taiju is an anime only scene. I like that they decided to add more involvement for her. She gets relegated to moral support most of the time even though she's the first reason why Takemichi wanted a different future.

Yeah, it's not fair to complain about the animation. I couldn't handle the stress of that kind of deadline for getting a show together and I can't draw either, so.. The arcade scene was added for the show and I love that they did that to flesh out the new friendship between Hakkai and Takemichi.

I didn't mean to insinuate that you shouldn't criticize the show (it has many flaws); it wasn't my point at all. It was more about the delivery and relevance of some of your complaints actually. I guess you also had to unpack some things again getting back into it again, and it's completely fine. The most important thing to me is that you had no ill intent. I appreciate that you took the time to clarify your thoughts though!

I'm not sure I understand your cynism and condescending tone about the story. If you guys don't like it, it's completely fine. But why shame the story like that? You seem to laugh about the whole future timelines, saying it doesn't matter, but it's the whole point of the show. His goal is to find what causes the future to turn bad. Every time he goes to the future, he learns new things and theoretically gets closer to resolving the problem. Also, you're assuming things like it's obvious and stupid, while you're actually wrong. Of course, I won't say what, since you decided to watch it anyway. A lot of shows do the same things as TR, but somehow they don't receive this much hate from people. When you're actually trying to figure out the story seriously (toward the end of the video); it's actually interesting. I wish you guys would complain less and actually try to enjoy what you're watching. TR has its flaws (especially animation), but it's not a bad show. "It was enjoyable...as far as this show's concerned." is a pretty disrespectful thing to say, in my opinion. Maybe you didn't intend to sound this harsh and, if you intended to, it's your own right, but it's kinda sad. Also, if you didn't like the animation last season, it's somehow worse for season 2. They polished the art style and consistency in faces, but the animation is downright worse overall. If you can just overlook it, it's an enjoyable arc.

I wondered if you guys would bother watching. Liden films did do this season too and gave most of the season to the interns, I think. heh. They saved all their good work for the end.
