Erosion causes damage when it is removed

@GeraldRingor-k6l I've played 3 games vs sand now and still yet to win one. I think it's just incredibly powerful and not as balanced as the rest of the factions.

The rules say each elemental may only attack once per turn. The exception to this is if you're playing with the Wind Elemental and you have tailwind, then you can remove a tailwind to attack twice

Yay! We're so glad you enjoyed it! I want to go back and play again, too, to see if Sand can finally go down! If Leaf Faction doesn't work, I think we'll try Droplet for the money production.

Are you referring to the development reward cards? If so, I believe each card provides both a Unity benefit and a standard benefit. You choose the one that best aligns with your style of gameplay. I could be wrong though, we have noticed Unity symbol on the cards and assumed if you were playing a Unity game then you would take that reward.

​@@CoupleofboardnerdsThat is correct. You can use either card. If you were only playing solo then you would need them specifically. You can keep them in all the time because players benefits are the same.

Would you be interested in seeing a 2-player playthrough as well?

@@Coupleofboardnerds Yes, have you added Unity into your play throughs? Unity is a beast! I am struggling against level 1. 🤯🤯🤯

We haven't really explored Unity yet. We usually prefer playing games together rather than solo. Do you think it could be played cooperatively

​@@CoupleofboardnerdsUnity becomes a 3rd player. It really isn't designed to be co op unless you had 2 vs 2. Unity will get in your way, battle you and take away lots of goodies and score a ton of points. 😂😂😂❤❤❤

Ahhh, that makes sense. I don't think our table is quite big enough for us to play that way, but it makes sense. We keep our dice and ship tray on the edge of our table and keep everything else in the table.

We've just about finished our first play through (played over 3 nights because of work commitments). We're really enjoying it now we know how it works

@KMReviews Glad you enjoyed it! You're right, we aren't very familiar with it yet. We bought this when it first launched, being massive fans of Flamecraft. We buy and play games that look and sound interesting at the time and then figure out the rest. It's always a nice suprise when a game rocks up. We're very excited to learn how to play, the game is now set-up ready for us to figure out the rules and gameplay!

This actually was a game where I did focus on buying attacks. We just didn't show that part in this particular video. I enjoy the game, just not with the sand faction.

@@Coupleofboardnerds Ok good I’m glad you do like the game. But I definitely agree the sand faction is OP. I find it’s not too bad to take on when I play the leaf faction and continuously play attacks form the discard to kill the sage before the erosions do too much damage.

@Eclipz-wi9oe great tip! We haven't tried against other factions yet. We'll give it a go!

We haven't played it against other factions but I would say so. The wind factions allows you to attack again from the same character but I still couldn't get anywhere with it which makes me think other characters would have a worse time as they can only attack once. The wind faction also has a rule where a character can have no more than one tail wind on a character but that rule doesn't apply to the sand faction making it significantly unbalanced.
