KH had an opportunity to define her campaign and defend her record, to the largest tv audience in cable news and she showed up late, avoided answering every question and ran the clock. Democrats are so accustomed to soft-ball questions that when a real interview comes along, they can’t defend their record or policies. She was visibly annoyed to be there bc she feels she’s “too good” for half of the population of this country. I want her to win, but “good vibes” are no substitute for solutions to real problems, so many of us are facing. It shouldn’t surprise anyone if we end up with T for the next 4 years.

You’ve missed the boat here. There is a difference between scripting and authenticity. Unfortunately she lacked the latter. It is a common error - that “sending” is all that matters. In reality there is more to it than that. And the talking over - well that’s because she was responding with a filibuster - she had cut the interview length by 5 min and was 17 min late for a network recording spot. Those high salaries in the end aren't responable. Those people will be hired through their own company and thus pay a lower precentile. Also for me working ft and my gf working ft. if we will get kids we are both almost forced to work less hours a week. We will get more benefits and additional money to take care of the kids while we would lose money if we would send the kids to the childcare 5 days a week. So the Dutch system doesnt promote working full time for families. It's not correct.
