Lies… I’ve been with the company for 3 years and the money is not here.. great for training and building resume but making a career here at Steven is not a good choice and if you are making money here is because you are slaving yourself into the ground and not taking home time. I put in my two weeks notice and start with a company that pays salary plus miles and .92 cents on the weekend. Reefer drivers take home nothing less than $1800 a week. Home every other day and 3 days off per week running dedicated for Walmart.

Its a long process for sure. I have 182 hours currently with my trainer. We out here in Scranton, PA headed to Lewiston Maine for our current load. We might be headed to florida next but with the huricane not sure yet. But its been tough. Getting used to everything. Hopefully finish with in next week. Would be cool to meet you at the yard one day!

I’m sure students don’t need to worry about having a firearm with them during training and in school. I have an LTC for Texas and I know some states are very different with carrying, so what do truckers do to protect themselves?
