Why not just seine them out of the pond or at least out of the area near the pipe as they get crowded up there? Seems like it would be a lot more cost effective than paying a bunch of people to wander around picking up individual animals.

Informative video... However is there a way to kill them any faster? It's pretty difficult to watch living things choke to death slowly.... I eat prawns but I'd like them to see a swifter end, if possible.
I saw someone who puts them in a. Cooler and the cold puts them in a state of hibernation and they die in their sleep

I have seen operations alternate between prawn and catfish. The catfish "poo" is food for the prawn so it keeps the ponds productive
You keep referring to shrimp and then in the title and end credits you say prawns... Prawns are not shrimps... they have more claws.

Liam is moist throw in rat poison, that'll get them suckers dead and probably easier to harvest
the ice puts them in a hibernation like state so they technically die in there sleep
Mikies no unfortunately they'll enter a dormant state but can hang on for days in that condition.. it's very sad but the electrocution isn't good either
