Rare: Arthur Woodale Live - Listen for Me
11:0 what is this sont
From @nathanschiro above Here is the track list unless I am mistaken. (0:00 - 7:50): Heart Of Stone (Act Of Depression) (8:00 - 16:38): Act Of Depression (Act Of Depression)
Man I was at that show with my sister... Haha she was dating the bass guitarist from luti-kriss hahaha those were the best days
wow idk how I only just found this, was looking for footage with Luke for a while
Do you remember where this was? This was how I remember the band back in the day.
So dope
2023 0/
Music peaked in the 2000s.
I'm not sure why I was never into these guys back then. I guess I just wasn't properly introduced. I definitely would have loved them back then
Blindside is so awesome. And this little former coffee shop was the coolest little hide away for this type of music...I always wished I could have met the owner. I also wish I could point myself out in this crowd but just having seen them live was such a big thing to me back then. Thank you for reminding me of the amazing times.
I am almost 100% sure I am in that crowd. I can't believe I'm seeing this footage....the refuge was such a special place to me...I saw chalice and zao when that split album came out...one of my favorite hardcore albums. And at this time Blindside was up there as one of my favorite bands. I also saw Extol at the Refuge... absolutely nuts they head banged the entirety of the show. We were all amazed they didn't hurt their necks! Also the hardcore dancing was hilarious to me, the windmilling lol. What a special time to be alive. Thank you for uploading this footage... I'm very late to see it... but I'm so happy to see this.
The distorted audio quality makes it that much cooler
"Light Blue Collar" is the name of the song.
It's crazy I remember talk with Corey steager couple of time on Facebook and tell him how his music change my life, million thanks for this, rip Corey
OMG AARON WAS ONLY 15 BRO
That unappreciative crowd... what I'd do to be there now !
So he was Luke Morton and on the behind Aaron is Corey Steger (Rip by the way). This is priceless
RIP Corey
This footage is so early that this is even BEFORE they had any music out. Luke wasn't even IN THE BAND when they made AoD (it was recorded as 4-piece with 1 guitarist)
I'm pretty sure you're right about this. I just remember some friends in the audience who were telling me that these dudes were legends already and then having my face blown off.
Damn C# on act of depression.. that's something new for a recording stuck in Underoath history
Drop D
This makes me wanna learn how to scream and sing along oof
Is it really as slow as it looks
13:05 holy shit out of tune.
I didn't even know this existed, it was a few years after I stopped going to shows at The Refuge.
Luke ripping the rips, Luke was all Act of Depression. Corey was all cries of the past. Octavio on the side hating playing the bass, and Aaron going with the flow cause he’s hanging with the older kids from church.
I can't believe this was 20 years ago
I can't believe this is 23 years ago.
Looks like talocan from phantasialand .
2018? Anyone?
christian Rocha I went today and the music wasn't playing and there was no fire. Even at night.
christian Rocha notice how in this video the fire works but the water doesn't. This ride has so many problems but I love it.
that sucks but the ride is old its form 1999 so it kinda old thats why im gussing
robby m i know right the water makes it fun
@@christianrocha3151 The ride opened in 2005. Lol
I went on that it was amazing
Damn. This is so sick. Had no idea they went back this far. Rad to see
Name the tracks
Heart of stone and Act of depression
I farted on this ride lmao
Lord Rayken 😂😂😂😭😭weak
love Luke and Corey. anyone know why these guys left?
Luke left due to dealing with some personal problems very early on in the Underoath timeline. Corey left a little while before The Changing of Times due to wanting to focus on making more metal-style music, as the band was shifting to the more post-hardcore influenced sound.
appreciate the closure :)! how do you know these things??
77cyclops This guy interviewed Dallas Taylor and he gave the whole history of the band back in 2007 or 2008 or so, if you look up Dallas Taylor interview it should turn up, I used to be super into the band at the time, especially their old stuff, so I remembered that stuff heh.
thanks man, found it :)
Sounds like christian slam death metal .
Best ride ever I was scared at first but now that is my favorite ride😲😁😎
Thanks so much for posting this! I was there, standing near one of the aisles off to the right in front of the t-shirt table. Such a good show.
Sure thing! Did you see the other part - ua-cam.com/video/-ofqiVt58Uk/v-deo.html
awww thanks for uploading😉
Aaron Gillespie that kid, omg : )
holy shit this is underoath back in 98?this is fucking sick! THANKYOU FOR POSTING THIS ON YT!
Amazing too see where they went till they broke up.
Holy fuck
Damn...filming a show in 1998? You must have actually looked OUT of place.
Thanks for your valuable contribution!
vocal is dallas?
Yep.
caraca, já foi mais pesado que TDWP huehuehue
when music was real.
This is awesome. I am somewhere in that crowd. I actually still have an old Underoath shirt hanging up in my closet that I bought at their merch table that night. Too bad I can't post a pic here. A relic of a lost time. I remember seeing so many great bands there. World Against World, The Blamed, Squad, Lugnut. Many others I'm sad to say I can't even remember. Man I feel old now.
Brian LaBarbera So many good memories there for me as well.
I can't believe the quality of the sound in this video despite being almost 2 decades ago. Props!
alaris1337 thanks! good ole VHS-C camcorder.
Dude! Aaron was so fucking young!!! :o
So great, i wish i was old enough to see this show. i was only 1 when this happened.
HEART OF STONE, ACT OF DEPRESSION!!
Freaking old school man thank you soooo much for posting this!.
