I firstly noticed that the most, if you could say, smartest wahhabis were the ones who strictly stuck to the madhab in fiqh (for the most part) - so the smartest are the ones who strictly adhere to a madhab, yet the vast majority of those who adhere to a madhab are : not wahhabi 2. It - تمذهب - developed a love and trust for the hanbali scholars inside my heart, after which i grew tired of the wahhabi scholars constantly coming to the positions of them and claiming them to be mistakes etc. 3. The calibre of knowledge of the ulema of the madhab 4. How the vast majority of these genius scholars were upon (any of the many) positions that oppose wahhabism; after knowing how تمذهب works it becomes foolish to ignore their judgment and understanding of Imam Ahmad and instead appeal to Wahhabi understandings Among other reasons

As someone coming out of the salafi ideology I have seen that aqeedah is much simpler than Fiqh. Salafiyyah makes aqeedah as if it's this grandious super complex complicated entity that you have to always revise and study and learn and everything is aqeedah and you can slip into shirk at any moment in your life. Alhamdulilah Allah is guiding my heart away from the salafi sect mindset. This past year has been a sort of eye opening one for me the moment i started learning more about Mohamed ibn Abdulwahaab and his followers during and after his time The subject you are talking about makes sense to me now because of all the stories i read and heard about muslims doing istighfaar and allah opening their doors(just an example) The salafis are not learned muslims..they are really masakeen wallahi they(and me to a certain extent) have been conditioned to strictly follow rules so much so at times that almost every matter in the deen becomes a matter of Aqeedah and there is no nuance or difference of opinion and its either the way if the prophet and his companions or the way of innovation Alhamdulilah i have decided to leave this tightness and seek to follow the Hanbali madhab Fellow muslims please take heed of the salafi sect mindset it is not a beneficial one. It seeks only to divide the muslims abd categorize who is upon truth and who is upon falsehood. There is nothing more important, not even 'ilm. Alhamdulilah the road is going to be a long one for me to gain knowledge in thos madhab but i am starting to feel more love, tolerance, compassion, jealousy and pride for myself as a muslim and the ummah of Muhammad as a whole. The salafis do not seem to have this. They would rather put the muslims down and blame us for our problems than to help uplift and strengthen the ummah..their knowledge is very shallow. May allah guide us

Assalam Alaykum wa rahmatullah. Everyone, long time, Ramadan Mubaraak. Love you all for the sake of Allaah. Although excessiveness in touching foot to foot but the shoulders left open is the case. I think the best balance view, is standing naturally shoulder to shoulder and foot to foot. In that way the won't be any gap showing and unnatural standing. Yes true, extreme contemporal Salafis, do stand unnatural in their rows. May Allaah increase us in knowledge and moderation. Ameen.
