what happened with the crocodile breaking your game is that your client desynchronized from the server. the server thought the crocodile was holding and biting you, the client thought you were free. this is called "ghost mode" on the technical minecraft wiki the short-term fix is to leave and rejoin the world (or try to get the croc to stop biting you, like you did by killing it), the long-term fix requires changing code in the mod that adds the crocodiles. this can happen even in singleplayer, the term "server" might mean something else than you're used to!

I’m so excited for the reptile house, will there be alligators? Will it be based on any specific habitat like the Amazon?
