Just a brief video of what this channel is going to be about.
Love your style man, keep it going And one question, will you be showing a tour of your castle in valheim soon?
I'm glad you like it man, and at some point definitely. It's actually a work in progress and is slowly being built up in between videos. As soon as it is finished I will make a full tour video 🫡 I'm hoping to have it 100% ready as 500 sub special (if that happens lol)
Love the calm vibe and your voice. and it's a nice house you built. I personally prefer a little overhang to the roof, if you know what I mean. The roof of your house sits right on top of the beams and wall pieces. While this is acutally a somewhat fail proof option to build roofs, if you create an overhang it looks more real and pleasing to my eye.
I completely agree! I think you'll love part 4 that being the case 😊 And I'm glad you're enjoying the vibes. I wanted to match the chill aesthetic of valheim so that it's not too jarring if you wanted to follow along.
Awesome build, ill replicate on my server, keep up the great work! Would be great if you could tell us how much materials is needed to build it.
I appreciate it! And noted. That's not a bad idea at all. I'll try to start keeping up with build costs and include them in the intro.
First video I ever set an alert for lol Love it man! Every new design makes me walk into my set up with disgust 😂
I'm glad you like it! And trust me, I get it. My builds used to be backwoods swamp shacks compared to now. 😅 Just takes a bit of patience and practice.
Hope you guys enjoyed this week's Build and Chill. Let me know if there's anything specific you'd like for me to touch on, or if there's something you'd change about the editing. And thank you again for all the feedback!
WOW, man. This build is a fenomenal. Is real pein, bad so beautiful Thanx for this tips, I wish you good luck and moor moor videos a this. :D
Thank you so much! And of course man, I look forward to helping where I can.
CRAFTING STATION: Need a roof ME: There, i built you a roof CRAFTING STATION: To exposed
LOL, ain't that the truth. Sometimes the rules for workbenches feel so arbitrary.
@@BuildExplain oh for sure. So many times i have had to add a ridiculous amount of walls to make them work haha
3 years ago when i first got this game and put a dedicated server on my home pc, i built a really nice barn style cabin with an upper floor. The house was surrounded by a river in the front and ocean in the back as well as the sides. Basically, a very very small island. I surrounded the island with wood stake fences after getting destroyed by "foul smell from the swamp" had no idea how raids worked then haha. They killed all my pigs, which made me mad. Anyway, i lined the stakes fences with portals, but after i had close to 20 portals, made a structure to hold them. Eventually, dug a deep pit on a friends server and lined it with stone. Think of the pits in the mountains you find. then we had 2 or 3 levels of portals.
RIP the piggies man. And that's a really cool idea! I've always loved builds that include terrain as a key focal point. I'll be doing something similar a bit further down the line with a basement design for a mansion.
@@BuildExplain yeah, its a fast a quick way to get shelter. Use whats there in a pinch. The mountains biome can be brutal so using those underground round tower structures as a quick shelter to rest and buff up... Life saver
First time i actually waited for a Valheim build video to come online, very clear and balanced game basics tutorial at the same time, would definitely recommend the series to any new player
I really appreciate that, comments like this mean the world to me. I'm really glad you're enjoying the series!
@@BuildExplain happy to support! and very curious about stone ideas, i'm not exactly a newbie but i still find stone more challenging to make look good. Also enjoyed diagonal core wood decorations on wooden walls it will "contaminate" my building for sure.
love the way you set up the portals! it really does give that nostalgic feeling from Nintendo 64 games
Thanks!! I made this design a few years ago when I was setting up an rpg style environment for my friends to play through. It was really fun to bring it back 😁
Breaking into Valheim's wall of creators can't be easy, but BE's channel is quickly becoming a keystone.
There really are some great content creators out there, competition is tough! But I feel like the valheim and building community is more about bringing each other up and sharing ideas. Which is what drew me to it honestly. So, if I make big great! If I don't, no biggie. Just happy to be here.
Finally i was waiting for this, please keep uploading i find it very useful i already started to use techniques you showed in previous videos and i built my best house yet.
I'm so glad to hear that! Sorry about the slightly delayed upload 😅 allergies were hitting me bad so I had to stall the voice over recording for a bit
Met this dude online, and he is just such a nice dude to chat with. GG
Hey thanks for checking out the channel man! Huge shout out to your music too. Thanks for the good vibes and workout motivation.
Addicted to this series man! So excited to see the progression and builds in other biomes.
I'm glad to hear it! And so am I, the new materials and tricks we can get into are going to a ton of fun to work with.
Ecellent work! Love the vibe. Wish I saw this when I first started years ago ;D This vid will be valuable to many fresh vikings for sure.
I appreciate it! And that's the goal, not anything too crazy, just some ways to make some pretty structures without needing a PHD in every single mechanic of the game, though I do think I'll get more complicated with it as I continue the series.
I love this it matches the chill vibe of Valheim when your just chilling and the wind is blowing and the sun is rising
I'm really glad you think so! It's definitely the vibe i want to keep.
I’am exited for the portals :)
Glad to hear it!! It should post on Monday morning 10am CST
Keep this up I love your vids!
Thank you! I'm really glad to hear it. 😁
Very nice videos. A only a small think: a corewood is posibly not a DarkForest. Is a small plot with a fire place, whele if destoiet we can a find core wood too. And a BlackForest for the tower with a small chance if destroit a cheer give a one fine wood too. Is a realy low for craft, bad enought for offen for a craft recepis. Thanx and wishs good luck.
That's a great point! You can definitely pick up a few pieces of core wood here and there from destroying ruins. I totally forgot about that. And I'm really glad youre enjoying the videos! I appreciate the feedback. 😁
Realy beautiful. I hope, you have a plenty time for another videos. Are amazing, bro. :D
Thank you my friend!
Realy nice work, bro. I thanx so mutch. Is a symply bad very very helpful with a begin technik for a beginer players. I wish you good luck. I cant weit for moor so impresiv videos.
Did you get any decent ideas from todays video? Let me know!
Very relaxing watch. Love the addition of the dock 😁
😁 You and me both!
Nice video!
Thank you!
Great video! I love building on Valheim- never considered the ability to mix and match roof angles! (also kicking myself for how efficient your workbench hut was, I always either over built or gave up and threw it in pre-existing structure)
@samiam858 thank you so much! And don't kick yourself too hard lol, I probably built several hundred different variants of those, because of the exact frustration your talking about.
Genuinly helpful video, much appreciated!
Glad to hear it!
I loved it! Im gonna make it on my save. Thanks a lot!!
I'm really glad to hear that!! I'll be posting another video this weekend going over how to improve the build even more with core and fine wood. 😁
Keep it up man!
😃😃😃😘
Soild video Mann!
Thanks brother!
Good video! Very informative. Makes me want to get this game. Keep up the good work!
Thanks man! Glad you liked it.
14:21 relatable... P.S. you have a very soothing voice! can't wait to the finished the interior
Thank you! I'm having a lot of fun with this so far, and I'm looking forward to finishing the build.
