Yoy could just say that the part of the galaxy that the CAS controlled at the peak of their power all got teleported and slapped onto the side of the 40k galaxy and I and most others would be fine with it because it's all just a theoretical thought experiment anyway 😅

I feel like the CIS can't win against any WH faction, at least untill they adapt to WH ways of doing war, but that doesn't mean they'll get annahilated either, more likely it'll boil down to "They're too much effort for too little reward and take up nearly any space to actually care". When they arrive they'll just need a few planets to settle their civilian refugees and government and a few more for industrial development, so more likely there will be some decades if not centuries before anyone even notices them, and once it happens there's going to be probably centuries of the other factios being like "there's better things to do, actually" If I remember right, the Tau were discovered, left alone for not being worth the hassle, then grew their empire without anyone noticing for a long time due to neglect, and still left mostly alone even though they could be crushed. No reason to think the big factions would act differently about the CIS when they have more pressing issues than a newcomer civilization of a hundred worlds on the galaxy's backwater not really being a problem or prize for anyone.

I think one thing to remember is that the clone Army are "produced" at just one City. And that the kaminoans only did it because they get paid (a lot) to do it. Krieg on the other hamd is an entire planet who isn't get paid, but the troops are paiment for the Imperium If Kamino would have hundrets of Citys designed to produce clones than it would be a diffrent story

Good question. The Krieg probably have numbers on their side, and I'm tempted to think that they might also be the last to break in combat. But the Clones have better armour (assuming that makes any effective difference), might be more tactically flexible on the battlefield, and probably have better localized air power. On the other hand, I'm tempted to say that the Krieg has better and more artillery and tanks. So arguably it will likely be close. Ultimately I suspect that it might depend on the specific battlefield situation. In a dug in fight, I'd give it to the Krieg. Trench warfare is a Krieg speciality, and short of killing them, the Clones aren't getting rid of them. But on an open battlefield, where the two parties have yet to "dig in", I'm tempted to give it to the Clones. I believe they have better mobility and a more flexible command structure, and as such will be better able to achieve a localized maximization of forces, which I think would be able to defeat the Krieg forces. But then again, Eldar and Dark Eldar have the same speed advantage over the Krieg, and it's not a guaranteed win. Ultimately I'll stand by Clones winning the opening battles against a Krieg that has yet to dig in. But the Krieg takes the war, if the Clones can't win it fast enough.

All it comes down to is artillery, and the kriegsmen like to 'lightly' saturate an entire area with said artillery.

I think the Kreig would have a more interesting battle with twe imperial mud troopers since they engage in trench warfare more.

There’s actually a big misconception about the 15 hours per barrel life expectancy per battle in 40k. That really ever happened in Armageddon when things were really tough. The life expectancy for a guardsman can vary depending on the enemies and type of battle fought. Some have a lower expectancy than 15 hours and some have higher.

Bioweapon vs tyranid? Yeah. Cause Mechanicus are stupid and couldn't even think about this solution. (Sarcasm!) Nah. War with mechanicus wouldn't be like that. They won't send troops. They'll try to seize the space and then lay exterminatus on planet. Didn't work? Some reeeeeeeeealy good shields? Ok. Then they'll blow up stars.

before watching, im giving it to krieg i think theyre about equally skilled, but the krieg have the advantage of absolute zealotry. theyll take winning risks and lose more lives than the clones in every instance, but their lives are the currency of the emperor, and victory is what theyre buying

if you wanna get to the galactic empire first youre gonna have to deal with the yuuzhan vong sitting outside of the star wars galaxies boards

For as much as I like the Krieg, I am guessing that the Clones should be the ones winning simply due to their much better logistics systems and reliable methods of transportation. Kriegers can be significantly more vicious and aggressive due to their lack of self preservation, for sure, but that kind of enemy wouldn't be new to clones. It'd still be a decade spanning war though lol

Given this, there is a possibility for the Separatist Alliance to possibly overtake the galaxy? Maybe? They aren't afraid of innovation either, and can realistically expand better than the Tau. Only problem is making sure to play their cards right. Which means it may take centuries for this to occur (They might even be a purely droid force by this point too, with Super Tacticals and perhaps superior models of tacticals by now, replacing the now late organic leadership. Which would be terrifying)

I think the clones would pull out a win. They have more skill and a better survival rate. I'm sorry, but experince trumps ALL. It would be a hard battle, but clone troopers come out on top.

For it to be a fair battle the Korps would have to outnumber the clones in some way, at least 2 to 1. The Kriegsmen are normal humans with semi-realistic weaponry, the clones are borderline super soldiers with whacky sci-fi technology, with the sorts of tanks, force fields, airships and cannons the Clones have at their disposal it's highly unlikely that trench warfare would work well against them. Plus wherever there's clones, there's also Jedi leading them, much more often than Krieg has Space Marines at their side, so unless the Death Korps gets lucky to have a Chapter with them... yeah, that Jedi will be causing a whole lot of trouble.

If you’re familiar with Halo, maybe a video of how strong Master Chief would be if he underwent Space Marine surgery and training; imagine spartan modifications on top of space marine gene seeds. And what chapter would take him too! And hell, even blue team along with Master Chief, they make a formidable Space Marine squad together.

While the clones have Two or one Jedi as their General and Krieg clones sometimes have psykers with not to mention they have Space marines polishing their operations I'd say it will be difficult for clone troopers special forces like the 501st legion, assassins or even the legendary Commando clones to fight like their used to. Yes, a krieg clone may not last more than 15% hours but they do not have the continuous defect that clones have each generation. It has been clarified in the bad batch series that clone manufacturing has been quite taxing and continuously failing over time since it has been an overuse template Jango fett and that makes them a temporary solution than a permanent like krieg. Plus the equipments, in munition terms the krieg beet the clone troopers 100 to 1 cuz las rifles are design to charge using nothing but the light from the sun while the DC plasma series are loaded with plasma charges, it just makes em useless when out of munitions. Not because Kriegsman die after 15 hours that would make em weak. You said it yourself they fight DAEMONs, Xenos, Hordes of orks and swarms like tyrranids. That means if they are not 100% accurate with their armaments it would make em lunch for their enemies. They are frail but make no mistake because each guardsman is an equivalent of our real life special forces. Like republic clones they have artillery, tanks, and sometimes even knights and titan units that would stomp the fck out of their combat operations. Tau empire actually tested this theory and they acquired heavy losses from their underestimation of their targets. The resilience of krieg makes them one of the most dangerous guardsman in the entire imperium of mankind that any advance races like tau would ever face. They don't know defeat or victory, I'd say their sore losers but they don't understand that either. They only know one thing and that is to kill anything and everything on the path of their Emperor. Unlike Palpis clones, all the wars that the kriegsman had ever fought are total surprises for their Division and they fought it without fear and doubt. They can take the damage and they fight it until they kill one or a hundred. Plus the Republic clones have remorse and they have the capacity to be afraid while the Krieg clones totally eliminated that for one reason, to repay the betrayal committed by their ancestors against their own Emperor. They believe that only in death does their duty truly ends. For me this is are the challenges that the clones will face when they wage war against the planet of Krieg. But I'm sure Cap Rex will figure something out, unless palpi acted like a total idiot and executes order 66 while the Imperium prepares to include the Angels of Death/Astartes to the kriegs operations. Then I'd say their monumentally fcked. And that is all the thoughts I have whenever Galactic clones are compared to Krieg clones. I guess thank you for the video the time you spend looking inside the lore these sci-fi universes. I used to love star wars back when everything is being followed to the letter from the legacy star wars of George Lucas but when Disney came to the picture I started looking something else and there I found the 40k from Dawn of war Soulstorm. Id argue for the krieg. They would be willing (and possibly wanting) to nuke the planet just to deny the clones the win. And if that's off the table it's still for them cuz the clones never stand up to anything 40k could throw at them while the krieg (while alot die) still win against demons, xenon, and chaos space marines given the proper numbers which they can provide

I'd honestly give it to the Krieg, this isn't said out of my preference for them alone, As i will give the Clone's one thing, in general their armor and some of their support items (walkers and such), are more readily available and very useful. However in nearly all other aspects i personally think the Krieg are better, The Krieg also enjoy a form of weaponry i to love....artillery, Trench warfare.

The question is what are the x factors if Krieg deathcorp was on the defensive and allowed to set up they would wipe the clones out, but if the clones as where lead by Jedi they might defeat the corp before they set up defenses, if Kreig where the attackers they would push through after they where ready to do so on an unoccupied world, however if their where civilians the clones might win simply because they would fight harder to protect civilians especially if the krieg deathcorp decide to go all war crimey on the quote unquote heretics. Based on the parameters you gave us however I would say it would go like this the deathcorp would set up defenses and the clones would prepare for an assault the victory would be determined by wether or not the deathcorp had enough antiaircraft guns to remove the clones armies air assets (clones army has aircraft all imperial armies need the navy to do that for them last time I checked) if they can the death korp wins at a heavy price if not then the republic wins ( unless Palpatine establishes the galactic Empire before the battle is settled in which case no one wins).

Honestly, without Palpatine, star wars tech could've gone insane. I could honestly see B3 battle droids being redeveloped to rival Astartes. In lore, they were hampered by policts to produce but the ones that were deployed were a nightmare for Jedi to kill. This is also ignoring the other bioweapons and experimental droid groups like the techno union wanted to develop but were always denied the opportunity to build. Hell you know Gervious would raid Necron tomb worlds to get his hands on Necrodermis and get his own body upgraded just so he can take Guilleman in a 1v1 for that Sword. Also defoliators would be a HARD counter to the orks, just saying

we should also consider that clones were genetically modified to be better enough than a regular human, and was capable enough kill space wizards, adding to this they also have the better counter parts for the "Regs" we have "Null" batch, ARC and commando's and they also have specialized legions in tactics and in roles like for example a clone pilot for LAAT and for fighters. Clones are also the type to do a battle of attrition as their basic like krieg until they have their ARC or Null leaders to push them through and have commando's take care of strategic parts. of i forgot about their stupidly op team of CloneForce 99
